  1. The Dems have a hard time manipulating issues because they don't attack it from the same "moral value" area as the Republicans. When you use the morality-smokescreen, then logical argument gives way to irrational fear, which causes people to forget about the REAL issues.

It is preying on their internal fears vs appealing to their reason and emotion is always more powerful than intellect, unfortunately. (*more volitile too)

  2. Ahhhhh, help! I'm stuck right dab in the heart of Jesus Land.

You know, some of the family medicine people at my school actually write bible verses on prescription pads!!!! When people come on for birth control or a vasectomy, they say "you might want to talk to your preacher first!"

I know not all Christians are Jesus-freaks...but it's scary how far some people go.

  3. That map is perfect!!! It's a long way out of Georgia back to the US it seems for me.

    Britt's comment is scary!

  4. I love it! (...a little late =)

    "I pledge allegence,
    to the flag,
of the United States of Canada."

I agree with M@ - fear is incredibly powerful, and trumps reason. Just think the last time you heard a scary noise from under your bed.. was your first instinct to use logic?
