Monday Manhunt Moment
UPDATE: I have recently received very good evidence that this profile is a fake, and was not created by Manhunt's Rob. We all know how easy it is to create false personas on personal ads which can contain misleading information. I have strong feelings against that kind of activity — therefore, I'm removing the link.
It's hard to go a day an hour without unearthing some artifact related to this show. A reader sends in this nugget of a Gay.com find.
We almost didn't recognize Manhunt's Rob since he's sporting the shaved head these days, but it's hard to miss the blinding smile. I'd also say that "sweet and simple" isn't all risk-taking Rob has to offer; it takes a bigger man to put it all on the line wrapped in toilet paper. (thanks Tim)

Hmmmm..... I guess I'm a hypocrit. When Hunter's past photos were posted I giggled and thought it was funny, but I don't particularly like him at all. Now seeing someone I like... Rob's profile on Gay.com exposed, I felt as though his privacy was being violated, even though there was nothing bad there at all. I guess it is all fare game when you become a public figure.

Some analysis of his profiles procured the following results for Rob:
Manhunt height: 6'2"
Gay.com height: 6'0"
Manhunt age: 25
Gay.com age: 24 (updated last week)
Manhunt law school: Pepperdine
Gay.com law school: Las Vegas
Manhunt out status: completely out
Gay.com out status: all but family
You'll also notice a distinctively different nose breadth in his Manhunt photo compared to his Gay.com photo.
Unless Rob is having an indentity crisis, the gay.com ad doesn't appear to be his. So Patrick, no need to fret.

It's the same dude. And no invasion of privacy cause the smiling photo is on a dating website w/public access. He's a law student who relocated to Pepperdine from Las Vegas. AND he looks hotter w/some "fuller hair" on his head than the butch/buzz cut he selected for the Manhunt gig. Also, the size of his nips appear to be the same on both sites.

Did the guy just buy a thesaurus? He sure does use lots of big words.
But it kinda made me misty. He's, like, so deep. And hot. Whatever.

also another point of difference between the two profiles :since when has Rob on manhunt been "masculine/butch"? and he writes so much better than he speaks on the show - maybe he dumbed down...but he is still my fav on the show..

"Eschew" and "lucrativeness"??? He should get a dictionary to go with the new thesaurus. I would think a third-year law student would be able to use big words properly. Even one at Pepperdine, or Las Vegas, or whatever.

Not sure what's going on with that guy, but neither Pepperdine nor the ABA allows credit for transfers after starting the second year of law school. Rob says on gay.com that he's already in his third year at UNLV...
It also seems he put on a whopping 13 pounds by moving from Vegas to LA. Notice his midsection in the gay.com vs. manhunt photos.
He's still my fav, though, no matter whom he really is!

Well, one other discrepancy in his Gay.com profile is his love of sports. It strongly suggests he loves to play sports, which the show clearly illustrated he was not the jock type at all, in that he couldn't even catch a football. The host of the show even said he was the "book type" and not an athlete. Though, he could have just wrote that in his profile to appear more "butch" as some guys tend to do. He doesn't seem to have any tattoos on the show that I've noticed, but they could be in private places. Who knows...who cares.
