Manhunt's Hunter Daniel: "Anything But Naked"
Soon the Manhunt will be over and we will all have an appropriately doe-eyed trophy for above our fireplaces. However, until then, we feel obligated to report on the pursuit of the flesh that makes this show the train wreck that it is. From an early age it appears, last week's Manhunt evictee was driven toward modeling.
A reader directed us to these Hunter photos taken in 2001 at the ripe young age of 17, which prove that everything turns up eventually. Still, even if they are suited more for xy magazine or a Howard Roffman shoot than the next D&G campaign, we think Hunter's "anything but naked" philosophy is probably one that will serve him well for the future. (Thanks briefs18)

You made it seem as though there were something scandalously wrong about these photos for them to be "dug up".
There's nothing embarassing about them. he was a good-looking 17 year-old.

I don't think Andy was implying that; in my opinion, he was just implying that in general, Manhunt was a bit lax and careless in choosing their candidates. These pictures of Hunter may not be embarrasing, but the bar stripping ones were. And what about Ron's porn heritage?

There is nothing scandalous about these photos at all, and the post was suggesting that....but I can surely see why Hunter would be embarrassed to have them out there, especially if he doesn't want to be seen as gay. For someone who is against doing any nudity (at least at that time), someone should have explained to him back then what "homoerotic" meant before having him pose in all topless shots. These are cute, harmless photos though, but not the photos that someone who wants to be a serious model would like people to see. It's like having your high school yearbook photo shown to the world.
Now, where the hell are the HOT Rob photos from his past, hmmmm ??

As to those photos being scandalous or embarrassing: they are shirtless photos of a hot dude, nothing more. Homo-erotic? In OUR minds, but so what?
As if we all haven't a photo of ourselves w/o a shirt on...please!...lighten up.
We haven't seen the last of Hunter. He's gonna be signed by another modeling agency soon & we'll see him in print very soon...shirtless & buffed. I look forward to them, don't you really?

I think the biggest insulting thing I saw on Manhunt was how the embedded model kept shooting him down (I believe because he's competition to him. Good looks, same hair color, needs a little more maturing, but I think he was threatened). I mean, look at his gooney friends that he kept supporting to the judges! It wasn't until the judges had to ASK for bad things on them that he finally said anything negative to his little groupies.

I agree with Daryl (December 1, 04), Kevin P. had something against great looking Hunter. The question is, did they know abou it? If they did, they didn't care much. I'm sorry Hunter left the show, he was a good reason to tune in.

hunter is very cute both now and then. i was so pissed when he got voted out. i guess kevin is just jealous and bruce is very mean he should better look at himself infront of the mirror. I dont mind jon johnson winning because hes got a very unique look but hunter speaks appeal and you would look at his picture in a magazine twice or thrice and cant help but dream unlike other models that you just flick page by page because they are not exciting at all.
