  1. Being from Indiana, I think it's unfair that they are allowed to dictate our lives. We do not do that to theirs, then the government can get away with anything. What's new huh? Even the gay congressmen did not show their face.

The story @ WTHR a local TV station ending saying... "That certainly is not the end of the battle."

Of course it's not. Maybe someone here in Indiana will have a change of heart.

Then the prez is up to no good in his 2nd term, so we'll just have to see what happens.

    *sigh*

  2. Love the new banner. Aren't those underwater mosaics grougeous? I especially like the octopus and the seals.

  3. Per Vanity Fair: chicken salad is the new black.

  4. "Vanity Fair" defines enigma among print media [the title among all media goes to MTV which simultaneously glorifies gays and makes millions off of making the careers of homophobic white trash, ghetto trash, and Rastafarian trash. All the more ironic given that some of their top executives, as at least one of the producers of the recent "20/20" smear of Matthew Shepard, are openly gay]. VF, as the joke above demonstrates, has become a symbol of superficiality, but the story no longer fairly stop there. Yes, some of their issues can still give you a hernia with their pounds of conspicuous consumption ads, and heartburn over the fawning [particularly in the journals of Dominick Dunne - what's a little price fixing at a major antique auction house? What's a little perjury over insider trading conducted when your private jet briefly touches down?] over people who's primary source of fame is major wealth simply because of their wealth [the excerpt last year from Gloria Vanderbilt's ludicrous autobiography helps demonstrates why closeted son Anderson might have a big dick but definitely has no balls]. But they have, over the past couple of years, printed well-researched, impassioned indictments of George Bush, neocons and theocrats. It's no doubt cost them a lot of subscriptions from those who only want to read about where Lily Pulitizer prints came from or see exclusive pictures of Princess Poon Tang's Lake Como villa where her philadeering, pansexual husband was made into a castrato. OMG! I just got an idea: let's send Oprah a gift subscription!!! Anyway, in the meantime, for those unable to open the clip of the Fox bitch fight, [thanks for the alert, Andy], here's a link to a transcript. http://www.aboyandhiscomputer.com/show.php?ItemID=2211

  6. "your" presidents mandate for his second term is all about hypocrisy...err...i mean 'Freedom'...uh-huh...yup...spread the freedom...except for gays, but they don't count...

  7. Complaining about a $20M inauguration? How about a $20M set of fabric gates in Central Park? Ugh.

  8. The Gates are privately financed by the artists, not by the American taxpayer.

  9. It's worth noting that the inaugural celebrations aren't actually funded by taxpayers, though (the actual swearing in, and one of the other events, are). The rest of it is funded by private donators.

  10. I wouldn't say she "flipped out", I think the Fox News reporter did a great job. The lady that was objecting to the money should realize that all the defence money was allocated by President Clinton several years ago. Congress has the pwer of the purse, not the President. He can't give a dime to anyone without Congress's approval first.

  11. Yeah but it doesn't mean to have many big parties at this time.
