Fred Phelps knows the way to Santa Fe. In wake of that city's recent gay bashing incident, Westboro Baptist gears up to pile on the hate and protest eight "Sodomite whorehouses masquerading as churches" there on April 17.

Just an observation: Albert of Monaco is in line to succeed the throne of the Principality, with the impending death of his father, Prince Ranier...based on a 2002 change to the Monagesque consitution which enabled him to succeed his father despite his not having an heir of his own.
I think it's also interesting to note that Albert (who I have met and is a very kind, thoughtful person) has never married....
I think its highly probable that Albert is gay, and to me, it's interesting he never married despite tremendous pressure on him to do so and even more pressure to produce an heir...
In a veiled way, there is some leadership here..which can be gleaned for those of us who have succumbed to social pressures regarding our sexuality...

Yes... there was some news in the egghead section about security troubles coming to a mac near you. Apparently hackers have found the OS X as Jobs calls it... no wonder there is the upsurge on "tv" about internet security all of a sudden... what with Mac owners being "upset"... you know things are "important" when boomers who own macs are upset! Why half of Oregon just had a cow! What a christian!

I spotted on CNN video a person I believe was the Reverend Grant Storms - protesting outside Shiavo's hospice - probably sending little kids in to try to give her water. This nasty guy, operating just like the Phelps guy, is a frequent protester at Mardi Gras and Southern Decadence.

Fred Phelps is an aging southern cracker. He is in his late 70’s and in poor health. He has spawned 13 offspring who themselves have spawned over 50. They’re a regular cracker breading farm. He is an ordained Southern Baptist preacher that makes his living selling hatred, intolerance and bigotry. He travels the world with his family in tow living off the donations of other bigoted southern crackers. His ilk are nothing more than publicity whores. The more publicity they gets the more money they get. He is known for his outrageous publicity stunts like picketing funerals, weddings and churches. He has instilled his hatred and intolerance in his children and grandchildren.
