Feist for Free

Last October I wrote about Feist, a Canadian artist whose album Let it Die was really running my eardrums ragged (in a good way). Well, now one of her tracks, "One Evening", has appeared on iTunes as this week's free single. Get it now.

Also Arjan suggests you check out the Fischerspooner/Scissor Sisters mash-up "We Need a Filthy War" and I agree. Remember "No One Takes Your Freedom"? This is more great mash-up work from DJ Earworm.

She just won the Juno (C$ Grammy) award for best new artist...for some unknown reason, Canada excels at producing great female singers, Feist is the next...

Feist's US label has done curiously little marketing for the upcoming domestic release of Let It Die - she's an awesome talent and has great cross-over appeal. Suspect they are banking on blog word of mouth, more here:
