Abuse investigation of "Love in Action" ex-gay camp where MySpace blogger Zach was sent by his parents is called off. How about the brainwashing investigation?
TV Squad asks, has Six Feet Under jumped the shark with Nate's bird bashing incident? I thought it was the best episode of the show this year.

And who is going to police these infractions? Have the NYPD start arresting people who have to have their cups of java in the morning? Don't they have better things to do with the taxpayers' money?

I too loved the bird bashing episode. Such a minor plot element that most dramas would overlook, yet Alan Ball & Co. are always (excuse the pun) on the ball. The end of the show when Nate closed the trash can lid on the bird .. priceless.

I think the words spoken by PM Paul Martin are spot on. One would think these are such words that the leaders of our nation could chew on a bit, whether they be mayors, governors, senators... even our own president.

I heart you too, Canada.

The dsyfunction found throughout last night's episode had my skin crawling. Fortunately a friend called afterwards and talked me down off the ceiling. What an angry episode! Still loved it, though.

Same-sex marriage passed the House of Commons, 158-133. It was actually fun to watch. An awesome day for Canada!

This week's SFU episode saved the season. I was giving up hope until EVERYTHING boiled over this week. So best.

Regrettably, Six Feet Under jumped the shark with the last episode of season 3, and Nate has been a loser character for some time.

I stopped watching Six Feet Under last season when Nate was terrorized by the guy he picked up on the freeway. It was sadistic in the extreme. My partner and I felt betrayed. Like a trusted friend who suddenly punches you in the mouth for no reason. We stopped watching 3/4 of the way through that awful show and vowed never to watch again. They weren't going to do that to us again.

I read the Jump the Shark commentary, but that guy is totally wrong! This wasn't an episode of comparison between a bird trapped in a house and a man trapped in a relationship, this was about the Blue Bird of Happiness entering Nates life and his reaction was to beat the shit out of it! All of these comments about a bird being trapped...didn't anyone else get the fact that it was a blue bird? This was one of the best episodes of the entre series, not just this season. I'm sad that the show will be over in just a few more episodes...

I think a lot of people also failed to notice the bird on the wedding cake in the first episode of this season. I think the show is still going strong and has the power to continue on afterward, even though this is the last season.
And it's funny how different people's opinions are on the show. The episode when DAVID was terrorized by the sadistic freeway guy was, what I thought to be, the best episode of Six Feet Under ever.

Each season there's been an episode of 6 Feet intended to weed out all of the moron viewers who don't watch TV to be titallated and inspired to think outside the box (literally). Last season, undoubtedely, it was "That's my Dog" where David, (not Nate, Bill) was abducted and terrorized by a hitchhiker. Luckily, this season, the morons are gone early and the rest of us can enjoy our show and celebrate it's conclusion which, after "Time Flies," is destined to be brilliant.

Both the David terrorized by the crack addict episode and this bird bashing episode were directed by the brilliant Alan Poul who is executive producer on the show. imho he has a big directing career in front of him.
