Play in your Underwear
You can't swing a dead cat in New York these days without hitting a party for the launch of an underwear brand, and last night was no different. Over at a little club called Quo on west 28th Street they were celebrating the launch of Play Underwear, and there was certainly plenty at Quo with which to play.
Among the throngs of guzzlers and gawkers were Christopher Makos (does he miss a boy party?) and David Hauslaib, whom I finally had the pleasure of meeting after many months of reading his juicy blog Jossip!
I figured there would be a few sights so I brought my camera along. Diminutive diva Amuka got up on stage at one point and sang her song "Appreciate Me". Aside from that the only performances were in the pants.
As I took this shot, the model on the right was struck by a bolt of kryptonite. Unfortunately, his modeling powers were lost forever.

Ugh! playunderwear.com's website is so annoying! Great looking underwear, though... or was that, "great looking models"? Regardless, I think I'm entering an underwear fetish. =/

Is this possible? An entire party full of fantastic looking guys in briefs! You New Yorkers have all the luck. I love the 'LSD-trip' effect to the pictures by the way, Andy. It makes it seem even more dreamlike ;op

I can envision the model in the last photo (black boxer briefs with yellow trim) at 45, and it ain't pretty.

I love the underwear. The website blows.
Why do people who aren't selling web services focus on the technology rather than the product they're supposed to be selling? People go to an underwear website to look at/purchase the underwear -- not to look at the latest Flash or web programming.

I just passed the Play "underwear truck" parked out on 18th Street in Chelsea.
There's a bunch of kids inside a glass-encased truck bed playing ping pong in their undies.
It was kinda fun following the ball(s) going back and forth.
