Amsterdam expecting 400,000 for Pride this weekend. Amsterdam municipality asks Window Media editorial director Chris Crain and his boyfriend, attacked in a hate crime there earlier this year, to return as guests of the city.
Elton John talks to the Telegraph about the disappointing sales and chart positions of his latest album Peachtree Road, his recent forays into musicals, and the big mouth that gets him into trouble with other celebs. On George Michael, whom Elton said was "wasting his talent," he explains, "George and I are fine. We've had dinner, and I've apologised to him if I hurt his feelings. It was handbags at 50 paces. We like each other too much to fall out." Madonna, however, is another story: "That one's slightly more difficult. I did send her two Christmas cards and they both came back. It was just one of those off-the-cuff things."

Excellent decision by Amsterdam Pride. Let the Islamo-Fascists know that they are no longer going to run roughshod over Europe, and that western culture and values will remain supreme in this world... despite their terrorism. I completely approve, a wonderful gesture. I hope Crain accepts.

Perhaps there is the slightest whiff of fascism - admittedly not Islamo-fascism - in trumpeting the final victory of western culture.
