One of the DI's aims, according to AmericaBlog, is "influencing school curriculum by repackaging creationism in a clever manner." To the Gates' Foundation's credit, according to the Times article the money they give to the DI is earmarked for the center's transportation initiatives, and not for their ridiculous intelligent design lobbying efforts. Still, it's disappointing to see them even associated with the institute in this way.
