If you're in L.A. you may want to check out Isaac Julien's (Looking for Langston) new photography exhibit — icy landscape portraits of Julien and friends on display at the MAK Center for Art and Architecture. According to Rod 2.0 the project is loosely based on the story of Matthew Henson, the black man who assisted Robert Peary on his North Pole expedition.
Toronto gay bar owner's companion charged with murder in his asphyxiation death last year. The victim, Janko Naglic, was the owner of The Barn, a bar that had been in business since 1975.
