  1. I saw Beverly Kills at the Philly Gay & Lesbian Film Festival last month. It had me on the edge of my seat the whole time... on the verge of walking out, that is. Like a compulsive gambler trying desperately to break a losing streak, I stayed, every minute hoping for a redeeming quality around the corner. But alas, aside from the adorable homeless guy, I went home severely disappointed. I was expecting campy... but it wasn't even that. I don't know what it was. Out of the 10 films I watched at the festival, that was my LEAST favorite by far. Ugh.

  2. What I find particularly unfathomable about this particular posting of info is that Victoria Beckham has "fans" period, let alone "skocked" ones.

There is no limit to the wonder and awe in the world today...

  3. I'm sure Ali G is just fine but when are gay guys gonna start playing gay guys? And real ones at that, not sexless, bitchy stereotypes?

  4. I'm about to have dinner with Mr. Dietz' tonight. He was just in town for the North Carolina Gay and Lesbian Film Fest and audiences here were mixed (just like with any good movie), some hated it, some loved it.

I, particularly, am in the love it camp.

  5. Why should we be surprised. Has Victoria Beckham ever said anything remotely interesting that indicates she ever picked up a book?!?

  6. For all you Victoria-haters...

    1) Have you ever managed to hold your shit together long enough to become a world-famous celebrity?

    2) Have you ever suspected your husband (have you ever had a husband?) do something potentially horrible and found a way to work through it without selling your soul?

    3) Have you ever been mellow?

Give Victoria a break. I rate her. She's interested in the world and, yeah, in being famous in the world. So what. At least she's not trying to become the new leader of the Conservative Party or something.

And she's never had a shitty thing to say about The Gays. We might consider returning the favor.

    Just my opinions.

  7. PLEASE! Victoria Beckham is the "author" of her own book! And David Beckham has "authored" 2 books! So what she's saying is that she, and he, can write but they won't read...how sad.

and Becks07, she is a world famous celebrity because she CAN'T hold her shit together. Her fame IS being a mess in the public eye. And as for working out things with her husband? What has she worked out? She's now alone with the kids and he's off fucking whatever wanders into his dressing room.

  8. Victoria is great so quit punchin on her. It's funny how celebrities can say these cute sarcastic comments ( like "I've never read a book in my life") and it just gets blown up. And taken seriously. Get a sense of humor. And watch the 'Let Your Head Go' video!
