Was it too pointy? Too round? It was somebody’s job for about a month just working on codpiece shapes. It was crazy."

  2. I know that the Superman costume is an icon, but I hate that they are not updating it. Worse, they are going with the even older, more hopelessly outdated, silly-looking one from the 30's.
    Superman isn't Superman without his blue tights? Well, Hollywood didn't leave Spiderman's costume alone, nor the Fantastic Four, nor Batman's.
    An episode of the Superman cartoon on Fox a few years back showed Superman in an alternate universe. Lex Luthor was emperor of the world or something, because Superman was his evil enforcer. Being evil, that alternate Superman had a costume that was totally black, black boots, no cape, and a dark red (almost black) S on his chest, and it was fucking hot.
    The new Teen Titans comics brought back a revamped Superboy character a couple of years ago, and he wears tight jeans and a black t-shirt with a red S. Tell me this isn't pretty hot:

    Now I know this new movie could get away with that, but picture Mr. Routh in very dark blue, no silly red boots, no silly yellow belt, no silly red panties on the outside of his pants. Mmmmmmmmmmmm.
