Bathroom Humor: When Technology and Art Collide
A pair of animatronic Czech statues will spell out famous quotes and cell phone SMS messages by pissing them, all while swiveling the upper body realistically. It's all spelled out very clearly on this site which includes video and realistic sound effects. Definitely a must-visit when in Prague.
In related news, yesterday the New York Times wrote about a study that showed many people don't wash their hands after going to the bathroom, but do lie about it. Women are more diligent than men, apparently. No word on statues.

If you don't get it, maybe take a moment to think about it rather than question it's necessity or dismiss it. Maybe the piece is suggesting that we are quick to dispell knowledge and that we communicate without thought or concern. Art Appreciation 101, FUCK YEAH!!

We need it because the artist said we do. We can look away if we don't want to see it. Art is art because someone had the ambition to create it.

Two statues of naked males pissing at each other? I guess if it's in public it's Art and if it's in a leather bar it's the gayest sort of interior decoration possible.

I'd be curious to know more about this - but interesting to point out that those two statues are 'pissing' famous Czech quotes on what is actualy a Czech Republic shaped pool... Golden shower anyone?
