Why Not Just Make Everyone Happy?

Yesterday the NYT reported on a small craft supporting a bright orange gate (most likely piloted by a chagrined Christo and Jean-Claude) that pursued Smithson's Floating Island as it cruised around Manhattan in a display of public art angst. I say let's just put something together that pleases everyone:
