Poor JLo. Once Ghetta [sic] Trash, always Ghetta Trash. What's he going to furnish it with, things he got with his employees' discount at Pier 1 before they canned his low rent ass after being humiliated by those queeny, sophomoric ads they starred him in?

I can respect the ethical viewpoint behind vegetarianism, although I'm certainly not going to give up eating meat myself. PETA, though, lost all credibility when it got into bed with the infamous Santorum just because they have some concerns in common.
And why throw pies at a fur designer? Why not go after shoe factories or the Folsom Street Fair? Why is fur worse than leather?

Why is fur worse than leather? Good question, except that leather is at least the by-product of the food industry. Animals killed for fur are anally electrocuted, gassed, and drowned daily. I really can't understand how the gay community can be so shallow to support a needless luxury item over compassion. Wintour deserves a daily pie in the face.

PETA also objects to using animals for drug testing. More often than not animal testing predicts safety and possible biological properties. There is no close second.
So I guess people with AIDS can just wait the extra time that animal testing would otherwise speed along.

PETA has made an unfortunate transition from being an prominent advocacy organization to now nothing more than being pathetic shell of an idea with borderline quasi-terrorist tendencies. I lost respect for the organization when they started throwing paint onto people who wearing fur coats and these pie-in-the-face antics are only reenforcing my opinion. PETA once had the respect (if not the sympathies) of a vast majority of people in this country. That good will has long since vanished and their public image has now degenerated into a that of a bunch of whining, needy, out of control, spoiled rich kid brats with too much time on their hands and no clear idea of how to accomplish anything but getting the wrong kind of attention.
