I'm often drawn to candid images in which the composition seems to tell a story even when there isn't necessarily one to tell. This top shot was taken at a springtime birthday party. I liked how the door frames compartmentalized the subjects. It had been such a long chilly winter everyone was anxious to get outside.
The lower photo is the same patio shot a few weeks later during a rainstorm. It has a hard time deciding whether it's an interior or exterior shot. Not the most dramatic shots, but still a couple of my favorites.
