2006 Bloggies
I'm thrilled that Towleroad has been nominated as Best GLBT Weblog in the 2006 Bloggies, particularly because nominations are made by readers. So thanks to all those who nominated Towleroad.
We're in the esteemed company of Good as You, Queerty, Joe My God, and Little Yellow Different. Congrats to all of them as well.
I've always found that the Bloggies are a great way to discover new blogs that you haven't read before, so I'd suggest checking out all the categories, and definitely putting in a vote for your favorites. Voting closes January 31.

As omens go: Please contact the billing/support department as soon as possible.
I don't know if a win from a website that apparently doesn't pay its bill is a good endorsement (check the link)

Randy, I think that happened last year too, when a couple of hundred bloggers linked back to the contest and exploded the bandwidth. IIRC, they fixed it pretty quickly.
