Homophobic Aussie surfers not feeling new gay romance film:
"The low-budget movie, which challenges the macho paradigm of bare-chested blokes who bravely ride their 'planks"' on towering waves, certainly raised eyebrows and comment from surfers at Sydney's appropriately titled Manly Beach, named by an explorer after the confident and masculine local Aborigines. Tim Plunkett, 20, said that, while he didn't know many gay people, he wouldn't have a problem with them surfing as long as they didn't try kissing between sets of waves. 'I feel it's more of a manly sport, and as gay men have more feminism in them it's not likely to appeal to them.'"

Oh excellent! I was getting SO tired of the same Gay Pride "Prancing Drag Queen / Leather Jock-strap Booty Shaking Daddy" video clip the Christian right drag out every time they want to make a point about our segment of the population. They need something fresh, and the serial killer/pedophile union is just the ticket! So topical!
Of course, we can't mention that sweet, Christian woman who claims God told her to drown her children... poor thing.

I think we need to bode Tom and Katie a fare adeu, much like my lunch did to my stomach after reading the BLOG about his gift to her.
I >almost< liked him as an actor. After "Interview with a Vampire" I thought he was just getting some reputable creds to his name. How quickly it has been lain waste.

Tom Cruise is rapidly losing his mind. He should go back to hanging out with Chad Allen on Friday nights, he was much happier and far less "jump the couch" in those days...
