Jake Gyllenhaal spent Golden Globes night at former gay cowboy bar.
REPORT: Barry Williams and Christopher Knight (Greg and Peter Brady) will portray a gay couple and share a kiss on an upcoming episode of That 70's Show. Mom always said, don't play with balls in the house.

ummmm...He wasn't nominated. Not sure, but I don't think Ralph Fiennes, William Hurt, Don Cheadle, Joan Allen, Naomi Watts, Catherine Keener, Amy Adams, Diane Keaton...all extremely valid candidates for Oscar nominations, but not nominated for Golden Globes...ALSO were not at the Golden Globes. I think it's sorta bad form (yes, he could've 'supported' the film..but I think he's doing that irregardless.) He was at the Palm Springs Film festival because he was presented an award. As far as showing up at a former gay bar....You are joking, right? If not, that might be the most pathetic wish-fulfillment I have heard yet.

Just to clear confusion: He was at the Cha Cha Lounge (formerly Le Bar) Saturday night, not Monday night, the night of the Globes.

For the Williams-Knight spitswapping to truly zoom across the heavens like the pop culture comet it horrifyingly will be, Knight must, at some moment before or after, express a craving for pork chops and applesauce.
PS Favorite Brady-esque line: from the movie 'Smile', when the stage mother asks choreographer Michael Kidd if her daughter can make it as a singer. "Only if Florenmce Henderson dies".

Yup, it's official that Jake G was filming Zodiac in L.A.and that is why he missed the Golden Globes.
I know they were filming parts in S.F. and L.A.
Just reported on Inside Edition:
Jake's publicist said while he was in Los Angeles, he was still shooting on a film and was unable to attend the ceremony last night, but did attend an after party with the cast, director and producers.

Maybe Jake didn't attend because he wasn't nominated. I was surprised when one award show (forgot which one) announces that he was up for best supporting actor.

I have to admit that I'm totally turned on by the idea of Barry Williams and Christopher Knight "getting together", even if it's only for a positively cheesy television show.
I know it's perverse, and I'm not an incest freak, but once upon a time, they were two of the hottest guys on TV. Not in a class with David Cassidy, but hot.
Actually, the thought of seeing them together now is not such a big deal. I'd rather have the fantasy of them together back then. That's the problem with fantasies. They don't always work out in the cold, hard light of day.
