Anderson Cooper 360: From His World to Yours
I happened to switch on CNN last night before bed. Coop must have been tired of talking about the Alito hearings and the Sago miners.
So let's move on to news you really need...

P.S. - And somebody needs to learn the proper use of "it's"

Not to mention the typo! It's footbaths???
Posted by: Stephen | Jan 11, 2006 9:42:05 AM
I'm so glad someone else mentioned the fact that no one seems to understand the difference between it's and its. IT'S one of my little pet peeves, and a constant irritant online.
Someone needs to screen the graphics at CNN a little more closely.

But notice how fantastic his suit is! That redeems all the light fare! hehe

For as cute and closeted as AC is, I more or less boycott all cable [hype & hysteria] (it's anyting but news). I get my news from AP/Yahoo!, print and as a barometer on politics, "The Daily Show, with Jon Stewart".
It's a shame that the population has to be so inundated with garbage. What's urgent and necessary is not what's being touted. While trapped on a lifecycle at Bally's, I had the misfortune of having to watch Wolf Blitzer's so-called "Situation Room", a nauseating blur of sensationalized screaming points, of course with the requhisit promo's for AC and that disgusting harpie, Nancy Grace.
They say what's old is new again; when watching the brain-numbing cable news, it could not be closer to the truth. As Timothy Leary said "Tune in, Turn on and Drop Out" of cognitive throught processes.

Now is a very good time to recommend (again) this article by Michael Musto in The Village Voice. If you haven't read it yet, it's a must-read:

Ken - Please let it go.

For the record:
If you can replace your it[']s with "it is" or "it has" it should be "it's"...
If not, it's "its"
See...I just did it. Easy peasy.

I fail to see how the connection here with Anderson being gay and use of 'its/it'. Please explain. Anderson is gay,is he not?
Posted by: Christine | Jan 11, 2006 12:10:44 PM
Christine -
I believe Anderson is gay, but I don't think anyone was making any connection between Anderson's sexual orientation and the improper spelling of "its." Separate issues.
For the record, I, too, find the improper use of "its" or "it's" to be like nails on a blackboard. The, like, you know, disintegration of, like, the, like, English, like, language? is really, you know, like, making me all, like, whatever? It's so, like, EEW! And when a major (so-called) "news" organization such as CNN starts misspelling "its" in its graphics, I'm afraid that the end is near. WAAAAAAUGH!!!
[Exit, screaming, hair in flames.]

All this ire over eroding language: sup w/ u, man? (emoticon, emoticon, emoticon.)
Posted by: Jacko | Jan 11, 2006 5:37:40 PM
Nuthin', man. I'm just, like, whatever.

What's with the typo? It should be "its," not "it's." I expect this sort of thing from Fox News, but not from CNN.

Glad to have you back at the anchor desk Mr. Cooper. It was a long two days. Your replacement John King did an excellant job though..

It would certainly help gay men like myself if a big celeb like Anderson Cooper came out. Its time this country stood up for honesty. We should not be ashamed of who we are. Have you ever thought of what kind of world we would live in if all the heteros had to hide their sexual identity.
Posted by: Bob | Feb 22, 2006 7:28:02 PM
Why do you even think he is a gay? because of his dark suit(he is very gorgeous)and silver gray hair?? :(

nteresting site! Nice site, :-)

Bunch of idiots!! Fancy failing to answer a reasonable question about Erica and Anderson. Simply more interested in perpetuating unproven myths just to massage your lopsided ego and orientation.
