Delegate Mark L. Cole (R-Fredericksburg) of Virginia wants to strip the state budget of outgoing Governor Mark Warner's language protecting gay state workers from discrimination. Why? "Sexual orientation is a broad term. There are eight different sexual orientations, including pedophilia and bestiality. I think we'd be opening up Pandora's box and allowing judges to interpret what that means."

Prince Harry attacked by a barrage of raw potatoes.
Nashville Christian Academy denies entrance to a child because he has gay parents. This is what the gay couple heard from the headmaster months after attending an open house at which they had a "good feeling" about the school: "According to Barnby (the father), Kellum (the headmaster) told him that his home life is an abomination against God and that if Barnby’s son was to attend DCA, he would be taught that he comes from a sinful family and subject to the ultimate punishment from God. Kellum went on to say that he had family members who used to be gay but have repented their sinful ways and given their life to God, Barnby said. He then informed Barnby that the child’s application would not be accepted." So much for the "good feeling."
Tony Curtis doesn't like Brokeback Mountain and speaks for other dead people, saying they wouldn't approve either: "This picture is not as important as we make it. It's nothing unique. The only thing unique about it is they put it on the screen. And they make 'em (male gay lovers) cowboys. Howard Hughes and John Wayne wouldn't like it."

Tabloid claims that Princess Diana death crash in Paris was caused by a blinding laser aimed at the driver by someone on a motorcycle: "New witnesses have told British detectives, leading a fresh enquiry into the fatal August 1997 accident, they saw a motorcyclist point a laser into the eyes of chauffeur Henri Paul, causing the Mercedes to crash inside the Pont De L'Alma tunnel in Paris, France."

Is that true in real life that pedophilla and bestiality are considered "sexual orientations" or is that just in his made-up world of Christian radicalism?

The young Tony Curtis was so pretty that he was born to be fucked, and, I imagine he was—at least for money, I seem to recall an interview long ago in which he acknowledged how often he got hit on at that age. Repeating this story just gives him more oxygen to live another few days.
As for the poor shat upon gay parents, I have little more sympathy for them than I do practicing gay Catholics, Baptists, or Republicans. And, just as with straights, the story illustrates that many of the gays having children are poor candidates for parenthood. Considering subjecting your young child to a religious school even in places such as San Francisco or the Village without verifying their attitudes about being gay, by just going on a "feeling," would be ignorant and irresponsible. Doing it in Nashville, TN, for Christ's sake [pun intended] is asinine in the extreme. This couple doesn't need a lawyer—they need some sense slapped into them. "Suffer the little children...."

It seems to be a matter of opinion and definition.
Sexual fetishism is usually considered orthogonal (unrelated) to the gender-based categories of sexual orientation (Heterosexual, Homosexual, bisexual), though of course it may in some cases be an important part of a person's sexual identity and behavior.
Some people feel that various forms of "paraphilia", such as sexual attraction to animals (zoophilia), prepubescent children (pedophilia), or inanimate objects, are "alternative" sexual orientations to those listed above. Others argue that these classifications are orthogonal.
Hani Miletski Ph.D., a sexologist and author, argues that zoosexuality was a full sexual orientation by the same criteria that other sexual orientations met:
"Is there a sexual orientation toward animals? The definition of "sexual orientation" was adapted from Francoeur (1991) in his discussion of homosexuality, heterosexuality, and bisexuality. According to this definition, sexual orientation consists of three interrelated aspects:
1. Affectional orientation - who or what we bond with emotionally;
2. Sexual fantasy orientation - about whom or what we fantasize; and
3. Erotic orientation - with whom or what we prefer to have sex.
and concludes that all three criteria are met.

Tony who?

As a motorcylist (my only transport - I haven't owned a car in years) I have to say that it would be overwhelmingly difficult to point a laser (backwards over the shoulder, mind you, as you'd have to be in front of the driver) in a way that could effectively blind a driver, and it would require the greatest of luck to succeed at it even for a fraction of a second. And there'd be no guarantee that it would cause a crash that would kill a passenger. Why do people swallow unreasonable conspiracy theories - let's stick to the reasonable ones!
As I remember, a large part of the problem was that she wasn't using her seatbelt. But yeah, seatbelts aren't as sexy as laser-carrying motorcyclists.

The christian school is perfectly within their right to say what they said to the gay parents (it stupid, but it is in their right)about what they will teach. I mean this is a christian school, after all. I hope the parents were not surprised.

So Tagg, I can agree with you that it sounds bizarre that this particular couple would consider sending their kids to this school; it sounds like they didn't do much research. But it hardly illustrates, as you say, "that many of the gays having children are poor candidates for parenthood." I don't see any reason they (we) are likely to be any worse on average than straight parents, and are perhaps likely to be better because better educated, on average.
And what's with this "suffer the little children" half-quote that everyone misuses to produce an upwelling of piteous, misdirected sentiment about poor, helpless, abused innocents? It's from Mark 10:14, where the word "suffer" is used to mean "allow," nothing more.

>>There are eight different sexual orientations, including pedophilia and bestiality.
I don't know that pedophilia and bestiality are considered sexual orientations, but I can see the point of this argument. If a more specific definition of "sexual orientation" would eliminate the problem, I don't see why it couldn't be included in the language of the proposed legislation.
Anytime you deal with laws and lawyers, you have to watch out for the loopholes. There are people who would love nothing better than to see a pro-Gay law get passed, and then prove it benefits freaks and perverts.
You learned it in kindergarden. Not everyone who offers you a piece of candy is your friend.

Tony Curtis is still alive? Well, he still might come out of the closet before he croaks.
There's nobody left to out him. Everybody he slept with has probably been dead for decades.

Note, I carefully wrote [emphasis added] "JUST AS WITH STRAIGHTS, the story illustrates...." Not that "they (we) are likely to be any worse on average...." Even assuming that there is a significant difference between parenting skills between the less and better educated, if you are aware of reliable statistics proving that gays are "on average" "likely to be...better educated," I would like to see them. Similar perceptions, such as the legendary greater disposable income of gays, is being questioned by some sociologists [objectivity implied] at the same time gay marketing firms [vested interest obvious] trumpet it. When it is objectivly demonstrable, I believe it is often because of narrow sampling techniques. That is, if one polls gays with money, surprise: they are going to say they have money. Are single gays without children measured against single straights without children? If gays are better educated, would not not having to support a spouse/children as many more straights the same age be a significant factor?
None of this, either way, changes the fact that two fools, who are responsible for a very young child, went into the lion's den and are shocked, shocked that they ended up bitten.

Tagg, I wronged you slightly. I see on re-reading that I didn't notice your comment applied to straights as well as gays.
I stand firm on the absurd cliché I commented on earlier, though.

in the interest of tying some of these threads together, let's add the "sexual orientation" of necrophilia so we can wrap in Tony Curtis' schtick. voila! ain't Christian homophobia just grand!

An answer on Jeopardy: Tony Curtis, John Wayne and Howard Hughes.
Question: Who are three dead guys that you wouldn't want to have sex with.
Curtis is a freak.
I saw his daughters Jamie Lee and Kelly at the movies once. They sat near us in a mostly empty theatre. A tall guy sat in front of them and they asked him to move. I made a casual comment to them about it, that I would make to anyone, but JL was a cool cunt about it. Apparently when you're famous for so long, you don't know that not everybody wants something from you - or even gives a rat's ass who you are!
