And if at any point Mr. Towle wishes me not to post here, all he need do is ask and I will comply. But seeing as how he puts up with you, I'm sure that's unlikely to happen.

After all it was a conservative role model - Newt and pals that invented the politics of personal destruction or at least made it into the fine art is is today.

Headmaster. Sir? She's an actor. It was a part in a movie, the genre of the film wasn't biker porn, and I don't think her contract with Lee specified that she as a person must do her utmost, following the wrap party, to throw boys on top of other boys. I Don't THINK so, anyway...

I love having the diversity of thought and opinion. Seeing conservatives, liberals and libertarians write opposing views is stimulating. I’d prefer a scotch, but what the hell. The personal attacks are tough to handle, though. I still feel guilty about writing something that read like an attack on Tom. Although none of us will likely meet, it seems that Mr. Towle’s forum should be a civil place.

I find it extremely interesting that just as the Academy finishes voting, the christianist haters come out of the woodwork and end their silence about BBM. Several stories in the past couple of days--this one about Williams' school's mindlessmistress, the christianist apparel company in Florida making the t-shirts with Moses and the gay cowboys, etc.--seem to indicate that they almost planned to wait until the voting finished until they started spewing from their hateful pieholes. We know that spokespersons for the christianist movement did state that they would not publicly attack the film so that it would not get support and more cash at the box office. It is, of course, doubtful that they actually passed out a memo or shot an email to each other, but it is also strange that they are piling on now.

Great posting JIMBOYO..on the "word of god"... you missed some of my favs from Leviticus though, he was such a hoot.
Leviticus7.18, it's on peace offerings to God.
18 And if any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings be eaten on the third day, it shall not be accepted, neither shall it be imputed unto him that offereth it: it shall be an abonimation, and the soul that eateth of it shall bear his iniquity.
Gee, abonimation!! That's the same penalty for man lying with mankind!!! So if I'm not mistaken, if you offer a peace offering to God, say like we all do at Thanksgiving, and you have some on Friday that's cool. But if you eat turkey or stuffing on Saturday, you're going to burn iin hell with us fags.
Another favorite is Leviticus 20.9, punishments for sin.
Liviticus 20.9 For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall surely be put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.
So how many people have not told they're parents where to go? And at least being a fag doesn't have the death judgement, nor does the Thanksgiving leftovers, I love leftovers.
One last word to the Christian freaks picking on poor BBM, or us fags in genral. Do you ever wonder why they don't go after the adultery set, like taking thy neighbors wife? There must be as many of them as us gays? And they get the death thing too!
