Soldier_savannah_1road.jpg UPDATE: Vanished victim in Savannah gay bar attack has felony warrants in three states; soldier attackers (one pictured here) say the victim, David Bennett, stole one of their wallets; heavy drinking alleged by all involved.

road.jpg Provincetown murderer Nathaniel Miksch sentenced to life in prison for the 2003 murder of Timothy Maguire. Miksch had strangled Maguire and stuffed the body in a closet for three days before it was discovered. In the meantime, Miksch continued to pursue meth-fueled internet sex hook-ups while Maguire's dead body rotted just yards away. Miksch had also cut off his victim's arm, a detail that the judge excluded as evidence in the trial which would have most likely resulted in a non-parole first degree conviction.

  1. Hopefully, Out and The Advocate don't pull a Washington Blade and hire some weak-spined, two-faced editor.

  2. PS. The couple chosen for the LOGO reality series are fucking gorgeous!

  4. How about a fucking spoiler warning - in Canada, Project Runway is still going on...and then I surf your normally mindful and informative site (never once thinking that that kind of info will just be blurted out) and realize I don't need to watch anymore episodes. Even reality show update sites don't just put the winner in the fucking LINK, idiots.

    Way to fucking go.

  5. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST ANDY

How about some thoughts for those of us who Tivo'd Project Runway and have yet to watch it?

    Thanks a fucking lot.

  6. You Pathetic Queens, get a grip. Knowing how the end of a stupid reality series turns out isn't the End of the world. Now go wash out your mouths.

  7. When did anyone say it was the end of the world? It's annoying as fuck is all, especially as its the first reference to the entire season of the show on this website. Perhaps your melodramtic interpretation says more...

  8. GOD DAMN YOU ANDY! I Tivo'd the Oscars Sunday and here you are spilling the beans that Ang Lee won Best Director, just out in the open and all! What an asshole! FUCK SHIT COCK AARG&%)_(# AAAAAA!!!!!

  10. to each their own in the "what gets me hot" department but the P-town LOGO couple is about as true to a MTV-inspired reality show fixture as it gets. all that's missing is tina's pipe and a junior-verse mix CD. can't wait to see the quote-drama-unquote as the "house"mates do booty bumps and do crazy eyed chases w/ each other around that after-hours pizza parlor street scene. oh well - those tatts will wash off with a couple of hot showers, fellas...

  11. Good for Ang Lee! It's a disgrace that the UN pretends 60 million Taiwanese don't exist

  12. Dear Seangstm and Erik,

If you didn't want to know who won Project Runway, why did you click on a link that says "And the winner of Project Runway is..."?

  13. andy changed the link. it used to say " is the winner of project runway!"

  15. I was shocked that Chloe won. Too bad the others didn't live up to their potential. She squeaked through. Not sure why.

  16. Britain's Environment Minister Ben Bradshaw will be the first MP to hold a civil partnership ceremony when he marries his partner BBC Newsnight journalist Neal Dalgleish in June.

I am conflicted. All gay and lesbian MP's in Canada with long-term committed relationships have married. True, their rights include the right to NOT marry, but it seems that all loving couples wanted to both receive the rights and privileges in law and some wanted the added solace of their faith community.

There is one state in the USA where marriage is legal. Yes, that is MA. There is one MA congressman and senator-wannabee who has a dozen-year committed relationship and he has NOT married.

I told you that I was conflicted. Of course, they have the right to NOT marry, but what message does it send the rest of the gay and lesbian community of MA (let alone the rest of the USA) especially since a referendum is trying to repeal the law by 2008?

Imagine if the only congress person or senator legally able to same-sex marry his loving partner of twelve years did so proudly and openly.

Why do our gay male leaders have difficulty locating their scrotums?

  17. Everyone should have the same right to not exercise your rights.

Posted by: Chad Hanging | Mar 11, 2006 6:56:02 PM

  18. yes, that's my worst problem.

    Posted by: erik | Mar 11, 2006 8:07:53 PM

  19. Chad -

In my initial post, I did indicate a conflict. But most conflict has resolution.

Here is a logical syllogism. Shall we. Barney Frank is a gay man in a committed monogamous relationship living together as a couple for 12 years. Barney Frank is a US congressman from MA - the only state where same-sex marriage is legal for discordant homosexual couples without any rights under law accorded to heterosexuals, even Harvard Law graduates like Barney Frank. The conclusion is that Barney Frank has no stated intention to take part in same-sex marriage and supported lesser and inferior rights as did John Kerry.

Yes, I do have a problem with that. I certainly do.

You know, a MA state senator, an hispanic Harvard Law graduate, married his partner with whom he has several children by surrogacy and by adoption. He is a candidate for district attorney in Suffolk County, and knows the importance of standing for full and equal rights.

If you are in a pseudo and discordant marriage because you live where you cannot marry, that is one thing. To deny it and make that political and social statement is another.
