More Attacks on Gays Near London's Clapham Common
A gay couple was attacked early Sunday after leaving Two Brewers, a gay bar on Clapham High Street not far from Clapham Common where barman Jody Dobrowski was brutally beaten to death last October.
The 27 and 24-year-old were jumped by a group of between three and six men who spewed anti-gay slurs during the attack, according to reports. The 27-year-old is in stable condition at a hospital with a severe wound to the head after being beaten unconscious. The 24-year-old escaped without serious injury.

This is awful -- the Brewers is my local when I'm in London. Awful.

My special prayers for the seriously injured victim.
The London DCI is a gay man, and I have no doubt that he will investigate and help prosecute these self-loathing and latent homophobic males.
The more we seek our human and equal rights, the more virulent are the attacks.
You can get 75% just below marriage like in the UK, as opposed to 100% elsewhere, and still the murders and attempted murders happen.

What the hell is happening in England?

Why don't they hire security for the gay clubs????

In the US, cops are often around the gay clubs and bouncers are at the door or security guards.

I recently asked HRC for numbers on confirmed anti-gay murders and they told me to search their website for hate crimes.
Does anyone have the numbers for reported hate crimes and any actual murders that occur per annum as a result?

For some reason I always assumed that Britain was more tolerant than the US, and that this sort of thing rarely happened. Scary.

England has several anti gay groups of people. One is the poorer white young people who are called Chavs. And then there are the Muslims and the Jamaicans who also are wildly homophobic.
