George Michael: It's Elton's Fault

George_michael_bwGeorge Michael strikes out at tabloid reports that he is a "wasted stoner" tomorrow when he'll appear on
Michael Parkinson's talk show, according to the Guardian.

He says he'll soon register a civil partnership with partner Kenny Goss, tour for the first time in 18 years, and declares that he feels great.

"The truth is I haven't felt this good since I was a lot younger. It's strange to look at this parallel life, this Fleet Street life," he said, referring to tabloid stories that appeared this week in which a former friend said he spent so much time stoned that it had ruined his career.

It was also reported that Michael hit three cars recently and left the scene of the accident. "Of the parking incident, Michael said he thought he had hit one car, it was a steep hill and he was a bad driver. 'It's rubbish that I rushed away and didn't tell anyone.'"

And whose fault is it that all this rubbish is coming out now? "Michael said the present headlines were a result of Sir Elton John's comments 18 months ago that he was in a strange place and needed to get out more."

I wish George would get a new look. It's time for a makeover, isn't it?

i would love nothing more than for GM to tour, I just really want to see if he can actually clear all the smoke and drug out of himself long enough to make that tour happen, (and the question is does he have enough fans to fill an arena? lord please say he does!

I thing G michael is one of the best singer/songwriter that I have heard in my life time. He is extremely talented way beyond his years.
