Cristiano Ronaldo Makes World Cup Debut
Towleroad fave Cristiano Ronaldo debuted in the World Cup over the weekend, making a penalty goal against Iran that clinched victory for the team from Portugal. His team was obviously happy with him.

"Glittering!" Cristiano is considered one of the most talented (and best looking)players in soccer. Many sportswriters think he could even be greater if he learned to share (e.g. passing more to his teammates). Maybe this group hug will encourage him to do so. Cristiano Ronaldo, one of Portugals amazing tallents at such a young age. Hes got so much tallent and he does not deserve taunting from the Fans in England. He had no part in Wayne Rooney's sending off against Portugal, it was Rooneys' fault and he knows it. English fans, such as myself, need to get over it and cheer on their EPL squad and not taunt Ronaldo whenever he gets the football! Hes shut up the fans at the Fulham match at Old Trafford on Sunday, but todays match, the first away match, will be much harder, hopefully he can do the same thing and shut them up with his brilliance.
