Fantastic Form: Chris Evans

Chris_evans_shirtless_4

Towleroad favorite Chris Evans is profiled in a recent issue of Men's Health as one of the "fittest men of summer." I'd have to agree. He has also been chosen as one of People's hottest bachelors, all of whom can be accessed here.

  1. Well, I can't really disagree there. The man is in shape. And not hard to look at either.

  2. WOOF!! Thank God for men who don't ManScape!

  3. Sweet Mary! That is a fine looking man.

  4. Just damn. Glad to see a hottie keep his body hair. Hated the film for 'F4' but loved watching him.

Now, re: the "People" list - is a man who was once married and is now divorced really a "bachelor"? Seeing Nick Lachey (who is really hot as all hell and could put his shoes under my bed anytime) and Kenny Chesney (who had an anullment, so perhaps he passes) on the list makes me wonder. I would think that the appropriate word would be "divorcee".

And what the hell is up with Taylor Hicks and Ryan Seacrest on the 'People' list? Hicks is definitely NOT "hot" and Seacrest is a screaming queen. Come on! ;)

  5. Seacrest has gotten as bad as Tom Cruise in regards to suing people to protect his declaration of "breedership". I've seen him draped on the arms of several different men at the Abbey in WeHo many times.

  6. I dont know, it would be better if he was a little more cut, less fleshy. Maybe I'm being picky. Nice muscle size, I admit.

  7. I think he's hot...specially in those yummy pictures from London. But I like it when he keeps the hair trimmed...not shaved or waxed...just a little less messy.

  8. He looks mighty fine to me. I don't really care if a man has or not body hair as long as he looks this good. Manscaping is ok, shaving or waxing body hair is too... metrosexual?

  9. "more cut", "less fleshy"? WTF!!

  10. I love the fur! He looks like a real man and I think he's beautiful. In college, there was a saying that went, " a straight man is 4 beers away from being gay". Mmmm...if only.

  11. Thanks especially for showing Chris Evans in all his natural glory. What a relief from the anonymous, interchangeable, shaved, buffed and puffed clonette twinks those pervs running the porn industry have tried to make us believe we like -- until we see a true "god" like this.

  12. Well he was in my local store in the East Village 3 weeks ago buying milk and cookies and had the cutest dog waiting outside. Looked great from where I was standing....

  13. Oh man, how dare you link me to something that features Taylor Effing Hicks as the most eligible batchelor. I almost hurled! Jake? Yes. Chris? Yes. Camilo? Don't know him but YES! Shawn? Yes. But Archie who? Kenny the gay country star? Ryan? Ick! If they were out and available, that would be cool, but far be it for them to put legitimate gay "batchelors" on this list.

  14. I will stop waxing because of this picture. Apparently, hair can be hot. Let's see if the bf agrees...

  15. her? i hooked up with that one on manhunt last year. she was letting her chest hair grow in then. i hope she finds what she's looking for.

  16. I'm not sure if that's hair or a shadow but it looks to me like he would be wonderful as the next Batman. I wonder if he needs a Boy Wonder?

  17. A little different take on 'manscaping.'

  18. I think Chris Evans is handsome and he is in good shape. Also, it seems from the interviews of him which I have seen on t.v. or read in magazines that he is reasonably intelligent and nice guy.

As for him supposedly being a Greek god, as some posters have suggested, no he is NOT. A good-looking, in-shape man, yet, but a god, no.

Also, while I appreciate that some men have a thing for guys with more body hair, I wish everyone would get off the whole tired shaving "debate." First, there are many men who naturally simply do not have body hair, or have very little. Second, some men like to shave their body hair and others don't. Who cares??!! I am so tired of every gay magazine and website making this into some major social gay issue--no wonder so many non-gay people think gay people are vapid and shallow. I like handsome guys, and I could care less about their body hair--although, if they are too covered in it (especially on their backs), then I find that a bit of a turn off. Nonetheless, I wish people would just focus on the face and the physique and get off the body hair discussion.
