In Cologne, Football's Sistine Chapel
The train station in Cologne, Germany has been outfitted in a gorgeous fresco of international football hotness (click to enlarge) by Hamburg-based illustrator Felix Reidenbach that took 40 days to complete. Adidas paid for the 40 x 20 meter mural.
Among those featured on the mural are Michael Ballack, David Beckham, Zinédine Zidane, Raúl, Kaka, Nakamura, Lukas Podolski, Lionel Messi, Juan Román Riquelme and Djibril Cissé.
One more sign that the Europeans see these athletes as closer to God.
