Who the hell is arod, and why for the love of god is he wearing those dumpy jeans? Also, as for the Research & Therapy group member's comments, I don't think allowing children to tease and ridcule a cross dressing child is progressive in the developmental sense. But then, I think you gotta ask yourself what your goals are... if you are looking to change the future of society to be less gender-defined then you wouldn't support those comments probably... Still, irregardless of whether or not you agree or disagree with the comments, I think that allowing a child to be introduced to ostracization by their peers is always a negative experience, and not one to be used as a learning tool.

I absolutely didn't notice the jeans just his big bat! (See other pic).
Its important that men act as role models to promote healthy eating to youngsters. While there is much concern about girls'/women's eating disorders, I think that there is evident of poor diets among boys. Boys will take on board advice from their heroes about healthy eating (such as Becks and A-Rod), perhaps this could be extended to messages against homo- and trans-phobia.

Don't forget NARTH is part and parcel of the "ex-gay" charade. "Ex-gay" "therapies" get their power and make their money by taking advantage of vulnerable gay people who are distraught about their sexuality.
People don't naturally feel distraught over their natural sexuality. Their unhappiness and disgust is learned from the disapproval, bullying and oppression of their friends, family members and peers. If this bullying and pressuring of gay people were to stop, then gays wouldn’t LEARN to hate, fear and feel ashamed of their natural sexual orientation. If that were to happen then Exodus (an the scores of other “ex-gay” organizations), NARTH, Focus on the Family, AFA, Concerned Women for America and Karl Rove would quickly wither and die.
NARTH is only doing what is required to ensure their future.
