9/11: One Couple's Perspective
A New York couple yesterday released graphic footage they shot from the 36th floor of their apartment building, 500 yards from the World Trade Center's north tower. I was floored by this, particularly because it's not the analysis of newspeople that many of us heard, but a family watching the horrific drama unfold before their very eyes. Incredibly powerful.
UPDATE: It appears the footage has either been removed due to heavy traffic or for other reasons. In any case, I'll leave the link up in case it returns or I discover an updated one.

I was up at 3am and linked to it from Drudge. Amazing video - I think this is a major deal - the video showed white smoke (meaning from a very hot fire) exiting the BOTTOM CORNER of one of the towers. The smoke is pure white and not the same smoke 100 stories above which is billowing out pure black.
This may be a big deal. The entire website has been closed ... OH YEAH ... you even witness a MEN IN BLACK team gather up a camera person filming from the same angle on the ground. Drudge has scrubbed his search engine of any mention of the post.

Pathetic is a weak word to describe these conspiracy theories about 9/11. But then some people think the moon landing was faked on a Hollywood sound stage. Some people will believe anything.

I haven't watched the entire video but two comments: does anyone hear that music playing? LOL and DAMN! talk about a soundproof apartment!! Heh. Maybe I'm just trying to lighten my mood.

Do you think this video has been edited? The woman talking, I mean. There's no way she could have kept quietly filming while witnessing people jump to their deaths.

I was there on union square park. And saw the whole thing. This is obviously a closer look but it's still haunting. Thanks for posting, I need to reming myself sometime of that awful day.
