Shredding Truck Heads to the Cheney Compound

Via Wonkette comes this photo of the Mid-Atlantic Shredding Services truck headed up to the Cheney compound at the Naval Observatory. Who knows what evidence Dick's minions are destroying as we speak?

Although, there may be erotic lesbian Lynne Cheney fiction manuscripts to dispose of — and of course those four-dozen unsold boxes of Sisters.

  2. Okay this post is just about retarded. If Cheney has incriminating documents, he surely isn't going to outsource a company to destroy confidential documents. It is going to be done in house by trusted associates. I have a friend who has interned for congress and he states that different documents have different sensitivity levels and are disposed of in different manners.

  4. Hey Matt, not to disagree with you but if they were doing something blatantly wrong they would not file it under “I” for illegal. I’m sure the Mark Foley emails were not nicely organized according to protocol. If it’s illegal it’s hidden… probably under the mattress.

  8. Actually the Naval Observatory and the Vice President's residence aren't the main occupants of the circle; it's the National Reconnaissance Office. That's why you can't see satellite images of the area. They aren't actually located in Virginia (the "official" mailing address gets rerouted by the post office to their headquarters in DC) and there's a reason why they only hire active duty military and CIA officers. The NRO has other responsibilities than what you've read about.
