Police Suspect Lover Murdered, Robbed New York Man
A New York man who had not been seen or heard from for two weeks was found dead in his apartment over the weekend, and police say that he may have been murdered after a gay "tryst" went bad.
John Canora, 57, was found "beaten to death, wrapped in a blanket and wedged in a drainage hole in his basement" on Saturday in Queens. His car had been discovered two weeks ago in the hands of a 19-year-old man named Daquan McGill, but police released McGill when they could not contact Canora. They are now on the hunt for McGill again.
Based on evidence, police suspect that Canora had been involved sexually with McGill, but they also say that robbery could have been the motive for the killing, a brutal attack with a fire extinguisher and a baseball bat.

I think that "lover" is prolly the wrong term in this case. It MAY be a case of robbery, gay bashing etc, to insert "lover" is to say the love was involved.
