News: Sean Maloney, Sex Education, London's Anti-Gay Boroughs

Marineroad.jpg Marine James Hardy to stand trial on murder and hate crime charges for choking to death a man who made a pass at him, then stuffing the body under a bathroom sink. Deputy D.A.: "He had time to think about it, and he formed a plan in his mind for the victim to lay on his stomach, and that's when he decided to choke him out."

road.jpg Gay New Jersey cop James Len wins $450,000 discrimination settlement: "Len, 45, began work for the department in 1986. In 2002, he told his wife and children he was gay and moved out of his family's home. Rumors swirled, and soon he was suffering from sexual discrimination, Len claimed. In his suit, Len said that he'd arrive for work three minutes late and be reprimanded, while other officers were routinely late and not disciplined. He further alleged that Mamkej once called over the police radio 'Homo, homo, homo,' and Pengitore referred to Len as a "three dollar bill," a derogatory term for a homosexual."

road.jpg Civil partnership ceremonies make it clear which of London's boroughs are the least gay-friendly. The borough of Redbridge has only seen 38 civil partnerships since they went into effect, while the borough of Westminster has seen 593.

road.jpg Homosexuality on Sex-Ed curriculum for Maryland's Montgomery County: "Some school board members said they expect a lawsuit from the same community groups that persuaded a federal judge to halt a version of the curriculum in spring 2005. U.S. District Judge Alexander Williams Jr. found that the curriculum presented one view of homosexuality, 'that homosexuality is a natural and morally correct lifestyle,' to the exclusion of all others. 'I believe we will be sued. That's okay. . . . Bring it on,' said board member Sharon W. Cox (At Large)."

  1. I'm sorry, but Britney Spears is just trash. Period. I don't know why people [gay men] fall all over her. Britney has shown her "true colors", and frankly they're muddy brown. She has no true talent except finding a way to keep herself (and her cooch) in the media. It's time America starts dumping mediocrity in entertainment (American Idol, reality shows, terrible action movies) and start demanding quality and talent.

  2. Yeah, but that wasn't really ABOUT Britney. It was about that hot piece of man hanging around with her. Not sure why, except for the money though, because that girl is a piece of trash through and through.

Then again, sometimes that's what guys like, I guess.

  3. Oh dear, I don't understand this labelling of Britney as "trash". What exactely does it mean anyway..it's such a vague word.

And the Marine James Hardy's story is intriguing. According to another article he may had met his victim Ray Catolico online, and later on images from a bank’s surveillance camera showed him using his victim credit cards. Doesn't sound like a classic story of self defense to me.

  4. Not a fan of Sean Maloneys. Find him to be the typical power gay with a personal ego to outsize his desire to do good for the people.

  6. "...that homosexuality is a natural and morally correct lifestyle"

Sorry, but where does a public school get off passing itself off as a moral authority? In my opinion when we start proselytizing any moral opinion at all we become as bad as our enemies.
