Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney enters race: "How is the American family made stronger? With marriage before children. With a mother and a father in the life of every child. With healthcare that is affordable and portable. With schools that succeed. With taxes that are lower. And with leaders who strive to demonstrate enduring values and morality. This was the agenda I pursued as Governor of Massachusetts. This is the agenda I will pursue if elected President." (Remarks)

Analyzing the Banksy Effect: "If you're one of those people who are calling Banksy a sellout for selling his work for exorbitant prices, but are interested in making money yourself from your own art, then you should perhaps rethink your views a bit. Here's what we see happening. There are now a lot of people that have money and want to spend it on art. Their entry point into buying "urban art" is now Banksy. They read about Banksy selling his work at Sothebys and they want to be in on the action. But not many can now afford to buy a Banksy piece any more. This is actually a good thing for artists who are talented and want to make money from their art because those people who can't afford 'a Banksy' are now learning more and searching out and buying work from other talented artists who are part of the movement."

Media sales manager in Britain wins £118,000 in sexual orientation discrimination case: "Jonah Ditton, from Paisley, was called 'a wee poof' and suffered malicious and insulting abuse on a daily basis from his colleagues. He was sacked after just eight days at his new job after the firm said he was not 'psychologically balanced'."

Poor John McCain. I used to actually respect him, not necessarily agree with him, but certainly respect him, however he now appears to be spinning out of control and I find myself worried for his mental health. I saw him on Meet the Press 2 weeks ago, subdued and seemingly drugged, as he slowly responded to Russert's questions. He appeared to be lost in his own reality. Now this comment that America could possibly start thinking the war in Iraq is a bad thing...HELLO!! McCain was always smart, and always connected with reality. What is happening to him? Stroke? Alzhiemers? Something is definitely not right with him anymore.

Mitt Romney. Entertainment Tonight. Howard K. Stern. John McCain. Glenn Beck. George Bush. Killer sea animals. What do all have in common? If I never hear another word about them, I would truly be happy.

homer, alaska is supposed to be beautiful, but those comments claim something amusing in shifting plates.
***The High Line: a tour of New York's under-construction public elevated park proves to be very gay.*** it's about time....lagging like a row-boat while i docked in shibuya and headed out for a walk -- ages ago.
i think j. mccain should be more concerned about potential unethical behavior in allegiance with underground meth labs or other trafficking in his home state. separate from its reputation, i've had wonderful things to say about arizona. after last year, the place has fissures all over the place!!

Glenn Beck is classless. He might as well be a conservative pundit.

Howard K. Stern killed Anna Nicole Smith.
Five months before her death he killed Danny too.

How do you justify taking 1 million dollars for an interview after someone has just died. Who would even think that way after such a terrible tragedy?
This tragedy has truly turned into the most insane "Reality Show" that has ever been produced by Entertainment Tonight. Just horrible!

Howard K. Stern is responsible for Daniel and Anna Nicole's deaths. If the Bahama authroities had acted quicker in investigating where Daniel got the Morphine that killed him, then Anna Nicole may still be alive. But it was Howard that took her to a small island nation to flee the paternity suit.

Anna's mother warned that this would all happen. Right after Anna's son's death...her mom said Howard killed the boy and would kill Anna within months.
It was all very very public, which surprises me that the news media doesn't pull out the old footage (like only months old) of the interviews with Anna's mother when she said it.

"The American family" ranks about 25 in the top 25 things that concern me about this country, first of all. Moreover, there are many different kinds of American families, some of which do just fine without marriage. Mitzi can go to hell as far as I'm concerned.

If Mitt Romney is ever elected (God help us), I'll be wishing for the good ole days when Georgie boy and Dick reigned supreme. Romney is engaging and very convincing in his speeches, which basically makes him 10 times more lethal than our current dictator. I was watching the NBC national news this evening and they spotlit Mitt, bridging his comments from 1994 when Mitt stated that sexual orientation should NOT be an issue with the Boy Scout's, gays should be able to have the same rights as other citizens, etc. etc. Mitt now states he was wrong in his previous stances. What happens with men in their later years that makes them so negative, conservative and lethal??? Surprisingly, Romney used to have some fairly liberal political views, now he's on a war path and it's not pretty. Does any one here think he'll get the Republican nod?

Re the High Line: Ya know I was in chelsea just the other day, walking past a group of public school kids playing concrete football, and I thought to myself gosh it sure will be great when they finish this so all of rich folk have a place to stroll when they are not in their 3 million dollar condo's.
