Skywatchers
Today's astronomy "picture of the day" from NASA is a real winner. Shot from Perth, Australia on Australia Day (January 26) it's a composite of three images and three separate light shows. Fireworks, a thunderstorm, and Comet McNaught, visible in the center of the photo. A pretty spectacular day at the beach, and, given the temperatures in New York, that's looking pretty good about now.

Andy -
Love the blog. It's brilliant. And I really want to keep reading it. But the ads that actually direct me away from the content of the page really get under my skin. I HATE getting interrupted while I'm reading something, and then having to click something to send me back to Towleroad. I don't know if there is some other ad service you can use, but I am afraid I'm going to have to get my gay blog fix elsewhere if those ads stay!

Andy I don't ever haved that problem with the ads. Great shots by the way, makes me want to go back down under, been twice.
Oh, and can you PLEASE change that banner. ;)

hey Andy~! That image is *so* phenomenal; thanks. And yeah, the current banner is the only non-gorgeous banner of yours I have ever seen...
;-)
Re: the ads, if I'm reading at work, I only have to shrink my browser window down on the right hand side. A pop-up blocker may help others.
