Towleroad Guide to the Tube #140
LOCH NESS MONSTER: Fresh video resurrects speculation about the mythical beast of the Scottish Loch.
CORGI ON A STICK: Animal rights activist Mark McGowan eats a Corgi dog to protest against the Royals and their treatment of animals. The Corgi died recently at a breeding farm. Said McGowan: "I know some people will find this offensive and tasteless but i am doing this to raise awarness about the RSPCA's inability to prosecute Prince Phillip and his friends shooting a fox earlier this year, letting it struggle for life for 5 minutes and then beating it to death with a stick."
IMPEACH ALBERTO GONZALES: It's time for the Attorney General to go.
STEVE JOBS: Another interview from All Things Digital. On the iPhone, etc.

RECENT STORIES:

I had to go back and watch the Loch Ness footage again because, as it was playing, I suddenly realized that the other YouTube video next to it was about - an activist eating a dog. I was so horrified, I missed the Nessie footage.
Then I rewatched it. What a joke. This footage is "resurrecting speculation"??? It's just like every other grainy, fuzzing dark blob barely breaking the surface image we've ever seen.
Wanna see some fun Loch Ness footage? Rent the mockumentary "Incident at Loch Ness."

Eating a dog to protest the killing of a fox is incredibly dumb. It's akin to murdering an abortion doctor to protest abortion. It's self-contradictory and too shocking for anyone to get any intended message.

That dog "eating" video is the stupidest thing ever. It should be called "man bites dog", not "eats" since he spits it right back out. Lame.
The Loch Ness footage is a close second for stupidity.

The corgi eating video was totally lame. If that's the way animal rights activitsts roll, then it's no wonder their efforts are ignored.
As the queen mother used to say when presented with unpleasantness:
"Aren't the flowers lovely?"

He waited for months to find a Corgi who had died of natural causes. Corgis are very meaningful to the Royal Family which is why he chose to use it as the example. It is not the same as the 'abortion doctor' comparison used above. The dog lived its life and was not harmed while alive.

Mark McGowan is not an animal rights activist, he is just a performance artist. He ate a swan to protest the queen and a fox to protest the "plight of crackheads". He also sat in a tub of baked beans with sausages stuffed up his nose to promote eating that traditional English breakfast. He is just promoting himself.
