Unhappy Anniversary: Bush Plans Veto of Iraq War Bill

Today marks the fourth anniversary that President George W. Bush appeared on the deck of the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln and declared major combat operations in Iraq finished.
It's also the day Democrats will present Bush with an Iraq spending bill that sets timetables for troop withdrawal. Bush says he plans to veto it.
FLASHBACK: In 1999, Bush was all about timetables.
Yesterday, Americans United for Change unfurled a similar banner in front of the White House.

RECENT STORIES:

bush used to love exit strategies
George W. Bush, 4/9/99 when clintin was president and we were in kosovo, Houston Chronicle:
"Victory means exit strategy, and it’s important for the president to explain to us what the exit strategy is."
And on the specific need for a timetable:
George W. Bush, 6/5/99, Scripps Howard/Seattle Post-Intelligencer:
"I think it’s also important for the president to lay out a timetable as to how long they will be involved and when they will be withdrawn."
Why won't the MSM talk about this every time bush says exit strategies and time tables are bad????????????
