Is There Such a Thing as a Gay Walk?

Gaywalk

We've heard about whorls and finger lengths, but now researchers are trying to determine whether or not the style of your gait (warning - site NSFW) is an indication of a particular sexual orientation.

  2. HA! So, I pegged the straight man and the lesbian as straight, and the gay guy and the straight woman as gay. So I guess that means I scored 50%, right? But really I think it's more like 100%. Think about it. The gay woman walks like a man and the gay man walks like a woman. I'm good! This is funny!

  4. Um, how does a 'gay walk' prove that homosexuality is "inborn?" Though I wouldn't be surprised if genes played some role in determining one's gait, surely socialization also determines whether one swaggers, minces, plods or sashays. Even the hair whorls were more convincing than this research, which is saying a lot.

  5. why are straight people so obsessed with finding out who's gay. I'm totally gay and could care less. Plus I walk like a linebacker.

  6. The videos were confusing or not working very well. They only seemed to have 3 frames. I have noticed you can tell generally how old someone is by how they walk, even from a great distance.

  7. Dear god. Haven't they got anything better to research ferfeck'ssake? Sick of these ridiculous "studies". They don't'research heterosexual "causation". I wonder why.

  8. I got 4 for 4 on the Web site. Not sure whether that's good, bad, sad or what. Anyway, sashaying right along...
