2007's "It" Accessory: The Umbrella
There's only one 'must have' accessory this season, and it's the umbrella. Celebrities are using them in so many creative ways.
Rihanna, capitalizing on her hit single which recently became the longest-running UK #1 in more than a decade, has produced a line of umbrellas for Totes. You can buy them here.
But it was Britney Spears who started the trend when she used one to beat the crap out of an SUV earlier this year. What foresight. And, guess what? You can buy that too. Along with the SUV she hammered. On eBay of course. Bidding starts at $25,000.

I do have to hand it to Rihanna. It's the marketing ploy of the decade (and a really catchy song, but after the 5000th time hearing it I'm beginning to tire of it).
But Britney? Please hon, come on and admit you're bipolar and get the help you need... you basket-case (although it's wonderful, albeit tragic entertainment for the rest of us!)

I was travelling through Europe for 3 weeks recently and could NOT escape this rancid song. I'm all for pop music and all, but seriously this has to be one of the worst 'biggest hits of all-time' of all-time!

And here I was thinking that "SOS" was still Rhianna's big hit. I haven't even heard "Umbrella" yet. Will have to check it out.
As to Britney... oh god, where to start.
I should confess that I have despised her since the first time I saw/heard her. She is vacant, vapid, insipid and talentless. She represents the blonde bimbo type that straight guys go ga-ga over. She's a creation, not an artist. She is marketed left and right (or used to be anyway) but has nothing more than an image to sell. Well, now that she's been through two marriages and has two kids she's looking more and more like the white trash she really is.
It is with great schadenfraude that I see the photos of her with the shaved head or wearing one of the silly wigs she's been sporting. It seems like she has gone from media darling/pop goddess to the running joke of the week.
My, oh my. How far the mighty have fallen.

haven't heard rhianna -- not necessary. love the britney photo -- it's not hyper-stylized. similar to the above-mentioned lyrics....yadda, yadda, yadda -- similar to the scripting or playwrights that seem to pass muster for y'all, yet, it leaves me wondering -- (how do you really digest that garbage??) a vast portion of the dishes being served at present are definitely insulting if you step aside to recognize a) we've already eaten this multiple times b) horrible presentation and very bad taste.
anyhow....thanks andy. there is a reason the air hanging over los angeles is soooooooo bad.

They believe they are different not like avril and pink fans they are "girly" all stylish and shit in their 3 layered shirts mini skirts with tights or busted skinny jeans with da da dum cake topper uggs yes you heard me in 2007 bitches wear uggs.
Regardless of your eyes they roll in that shit and and proudly if i was not straight before ( granted at my age aren't we all curious) id be straight after seeing these girls dress themselves speak on politics and their entertainment
