Indian singer Sonu Nigam accuses journalist Subhash K Jha of retaliation after the writer's sexual advances were rejected: "He used to harass me with his homosexual desires to an extent that my family was affected. We all know that the film industry consists of many gays and homosexuals. Even I have many gay friends but they have never tried to come close to me because they know that I am not interested in it. I’m not a fool that I don’t understand his intentions. I’m not a villager that I don’t know whatever is happening. I even told him about my girlfriends but slowly and slowly when he did not get any positive response from my end, he started criticising me in his articles and his feelings got bitter towards me."

Hedi Slimane, Jeff Koons, and Dieter Rams to guest edit October issue of Wallpaper: "Each is designing his own cover for the London title, and each has been given his own 20-page section, said publishing director Andrew Black. In the Slimane segment, there's an interview with the designer by German artist Thomas Demand, and 10 collectible, poster-size photographs shot by Slimane. The photos are very personal ones, said Black: There are fashion shots, details from everyday life and abstract images. Slimane has been hands-on, in touch with the magazine's staff every day. "We're an eclectic title with so many disciplines of design — we decided to have three guest editors instead of one," said Black. He said the editors chose Slimane because "he's someone we've admired for a long time." And also, no doubt, a designer with some extra time on his hands since leaving Dior Homme."

God, Jesse Metcalfe is mind numbingly repulsive. I just don't get it. Any gay man that has interest in that deserves to have their penis fall off for being retarded with bad taste.

The iphone: the only major product introduction thus far of the 21st century? I'm holding out on the hovercar to knock it out of the top stop.

The "i" in iPhone must stand for idiot because this phone is nothing more than a few tweaks of old technology. I actually tried one out in an Apple store today, and the onscreen keyboard is RIDICULOUS! I have fairly slim fingers, and couldn't type one word without hitting an incorrect key. Forget about using your thumbs. And if you have fat fingers, you're really screwed.
It looks good, and the graphics are great. But it is not worth anywhere near what they are charging for it.

"The chairman of the Akron-Area Pride Collective said there are plenty of reasons why gays would want to visit the community, including West Akron's historic Highland Square neighborhood."
Yeah, too bad the InterBelt (a local bar) is referred as the Rusty Buckle. The area is great & though nightlife isn't the only consideration to be factored in when planning a vacation/relocation, it helps.

OH MAN!!! Regardless of what the real story is behind the picture, Jessie Metcalfe is a MESS! Pretty yes, but a mess. I hope for his sake that he's trying out for a role and not trying to reinvent himself.

Just a little correction, Dublin has had a community centre for 15 years, but the Taoiseach (Prime Minister) Bertie Ahern was re-opening Outhouse after refurbishment to the Georgian townhouse which has been the home of Outhouse since 1997.

For those of you bothering to wonder where the hell Akron is, think thirty miles south of Cleveland. Think Goodyear blimp, think rubber capital of the world (although not many tires are made here anymore), and think Soapbox Derby. While coming to Akron to visit the gay-friendly Highland Square area will take you all of one to two hours, the best new reason to see Akron is its new art museum. The art museum has a modest collection of contemporary art, which is now housed in one of the most outre art museums in the country. Not to be missed if you are anywhere in the area.
By 2011, the Cleveland Museum of Art will have finished its 200 million dollar plus addition. This is already one of the best art museums in the country.

That Indian guy should do what young American singers and actors do at the start of their careers: sleep with homos in positions of power in the entertainment industry. You'll be a star in no time. Ask every big name actor in Hollywood.

Regarding the Indian singer, Sonu Nigam, I wonder if there's something else going on here. The article didn't include much information about Nigam or the journalist beyond reporting Nigam's claims. On the one hand, it isn't too hard to believe that a rejected queen would take out his frustration in his articles, I truly wonder if their isn't more to the story. I know that homosexuality isn't widely tolerated in India, and so accusing someone of being homosexual and of harassing a celebrity in this way may actually be part of a larger push to deflect criticism from the actor and to smear the journalist. Can anyone confirm that the journalist is gay? Has anyone witnessed any of the harassment the actor claims happened? Have other actors experienced similar treatment from the journalist? There are still too many questions for me on this to take a side. I'm curious as to what the journalist has to say in response to these allegations.
Oh, and someone should explain to Nigam that "gay" and "homosexual" are self-inclusive terms. One can't be "gay" and not be homosexual.

perhaps ohio should work on shedding itself of their newly enacted draconian anti-gay laws before they start trying to lure the gay dollar.

Akron? I've never been but been to Cleveland, Dayton and Cincy. The best city to visit in Ohio is now Columbus. It is growing while the rest are fading away. @20 bars/clubs. Second largest pride in Midwest behind Chicago. Gay 'hoods include the Short North arts district, historic German Village, Victorian village, Old Town East etc and for the ladies Clintonville (aka clity vill).
I realize that many would not even think about visiting Ohio but if you find yourself here for work etc and have free time....

Question: who runs the "D-Listed" website? I'm asking because every time I click on the link that Towleroad usually posts with any articles/blogs on "D-Listed", the comments are pathetically homophobic. The comments seem to be taken right off a high school bathroom wall. If I'm being over sensitive, forgive me, but I find it amusing that a gay blog links to articles with comments that are almost always homophobic in nature, something a few other readers have pointed out.
