Gay Soldiers Prompt 'DADT' Statement from Arizona Governor

A tour of soldiers discharged by the U.S. military, sponsored by HRC, is currently underway.
The soldiers (left to right) former Army Sgt. Sonya Contreras, former Marine Corps 1st Lt. Antonio Agnone, former Army Spc. Jarrod Chlapowski, former Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Eric Alva, and former Army Arabic linguist Alexander Nicholson, made a stop at the Arizona State Capitol in Phoenix on Tuesday.
The visit prompted Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano to comment on the military's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy. Said Napolitano: "To me, you ought to be focused on, 'Are the people there and are they doing their job?' And don't ask/don't tell, to me, that doesn't tell you that."
The governor did not say she thought the policy should be repealed, although the intention of SLDN's tour is to persuade lawmakers to come to that conclusion.

Woof! I know there was some sort of writing under that picture, but I couldn't read it cause I was so distracted by looking at those hot guys (all except the first one on the left and the little one second from the right)...but I've been drinking already a bit today.
Oh, right now I get it. Of course it should be repealed. Silly law. I wonder if Hilary will do anything about it? Everyone KNOWS that law doesn't work.

These brave men and women are truly America's heroes. I applaud them for coming forth and putting a face on the military's discrimination.
Now that I've honored their actions in an appropriate and dignified way, let me add....
OH MY GOD. Hot hot hot fantasies ensue.

The "little one second from the right" happens to be Eric Alva, who was the first American wounded in the war in Iraq and awarded a Purple Heart. He spoke before Congress about repealing DADT, and was on the cover of The Advocate recently. That's "hot" to me.

Jordan,
Gee, I just noticed that you picked out the three white guys (and left the Amerindian and female behind). Not that it's atypical to see such selectiveness within the gay community in NYC, but can we be a little less transparent, please?
Heh.

John,
You must think about race an awful, because I can't think of another reason why you'd say something like that. I dunno, though, I guess you could always go out into the real world and find Jordan, and use mind control to force him to find attractive what you think he should.

A drunken gay man saying he doesn't think a woman he's mistaken for a man is sexy? He must hate women then, he's a selective misogynist!!! Thank God we have John to patrol the board and point out these monsters like Jordon whenever they appear. Gay men are the embodiment of filth and evil and should be beaten to a bloody pulp at birth, they're all misogynists and racists and child molesters! And homophobia is too good for faggots, isn't it John. So they should just stop their bellyaching, the reason everyone hates fags is because they DESERVE to be hated, with the white hot intensity of 1,000 suns, isn't that right John.

While John may be a little hypersensitive about the race issue, (he pointed it out rather quickly!) I think he made a good point as well. No need to lash out at a guy for recognizing a trend among the gay-American perception of beauty. If we can't all at least consider John's point, then maybe none of us should be so concerned with our rights. If we can't step back and check ourselves, why should we check others for legislation like DADT? And Jeff, shut the fuck up. You're probably annoying yourself at this point.
