Teen Convicted: A 17-year-old man who brutally beat a transsexual, 39, after discovering during sex that she had a penis was convicted of aggravated battery in Palm Beach County Juvenile Court, but not of a hate crime, the Miami Herald reported. Names of victim and perpetrator are being withheld. A police officer told the court that the teenager beat the transsexual until his hands were sore, took a break, and then returned to the beach where he had left her to punch her some more and slam her head into a lifeguard stand.

There's a word to describe sex without consent: RAPE. If I were having sex with someone who said they were a man, but was actually a woman, and I discovered this during (or after) sex, I'd be angry enough to hit. I didn't consent to sex with a woman.
Unfortunately the gay community looks upon such deception - which many transexuals engage in -- as harmless, almost amusing. This is one reason I'm less than enthusiastic about being lumped in with the trannies as one big happy LBGT family.

"Angry Guy", the gay community does not look on transgendered "deceptions" as humorous, for in fact, a member of our LGBT community is now dead for not telling this 17 year old asshole that they had a dick.

somebody needs to check the law in the state, but the last time i checked a 39 year old having sex with a 17 year old might be rape, regardless of the gender. in any event, this tranny really needed an awakening if she/it has no problem preying on 17 year olds...gimme a break, that tranimal had it coming. sorry, but a predator is a predator. i agree, trannies need to find there own movement and stop dragging (no pun intended) the rest of the gay community down. whoever said that just because you thought it was a woman and then you found out it had a dick, that they shouldn't have been hit, is just an idiot. that is "a punchable offense" in my book.

The age of consent in Florida is 16.
There is a sodomy law (Florida was one of the 13 states that still criminalized homosexuality in 2003). But obviously, it's now null and void because of the Supreme Court's Lawrence v Texas decision.

I am OUTRAGED that a restaurant in my neighborhood harassed Khaduah Farmer. I called just now, and the "manager" told me he didn't know anything about it. HELLO? He told me to call back on Monday. I asked if it weren't a reasonable expectation that he, as a manager (as I am in my own business), might have an inkling of what was going on, or at the very least a carefully worded apology, and he was at a total loss. I am thinking about sandwich board protesting on Bleecker & 7th tomorrow. Anyone wanna join?
