I have been taping the repeats of Cold Case so I wouldn't miss this episode. This was one of the best written, acted and sensitive episodes of Cold Case ever. I hope it got Emmy nominations.
I love the show immensly. Congrats to CBS for having the cojones to feature storylines the deal with gays. The show is always about a tragedy and they happen to gay people too. Many episodes have gay characters, more than most any show in a season. The cute spanish cop has shown that he is homophobic in previous episdoes.
Instead of agendas just watch the epsode before pre-judging. I will be enjoying this one again.

Someone earlier was writing about older versions of tragic gay love stories like BBM. Don't rule out Gilgamesh, about 1500 years older than the David/Jonathan story, and from that hotbed of literary freedom Sumeria/Babylon (now Iraq).

It was even better, and sadder, the second time around.
Definitely one of the best Cold Case episodes ever.

I also liked this episode. There are a bunch of people who went through or are going through hetero-marriages. My spouse was divorced 30+ years ago. It was an issue when we were married in Canada. It's not easy! Putting it out there helps.
RB is a hero for his success. Bob Allen should have that much courage, and everyone in his family would have a chance for a happpy life - including him.
