Lance Bass Spotted Checking Out the Goods at Fashion Week
Lance Bass was spotted surveying the Nautica 2008 spring collection show at New York's fashion week, which kicked off today.
Can we blame him?

Must we bash everyone? Compared to the George Michaels of the world, we should be celebrating and applauding people like Lance Bass - whose greatest crime is having dated Reichen. He is a positive for us, guys.
We should be keeping those people: Lance, T.R. and Neil Patrick Harris in the news so that the rest of the world can see how normal they are, and other gay celebs can learn that their careers won't be over if they come out.
There truly is no legitimate reason other than pure jealousy to hate on him. There are reasons to dislike and be ashamed of Reichen and George Michael, but not Lance Bass. He's talented, he's out, and he's continuing with his life and his work - the best thing for him and for us as a whole.

I have no real strong opinion on Lance Bass. I do think it's funny that so many people seem to dislike him so much. I can't figure out why. He seems rather innocuous.

I hate Lance Bass for the similar reasons most people hate Paris Hilton: he's talentless and yet he enjoys enormous privilege...he has access to the media and yet he never uses it to further any cause except himself...he's fugly and yet he always seems to have some hot man on his arm...when he came out of the closet he stated that he wasn't about to become some 'crazy gay activist' and yet the only reason he was able to come out without encountering gigantic career obstacles was the fact that 'crazy gay activists' had spent decades paving the road for him...he's a coward who had no intention of coming out of the closet until he learned he was about to be outed by a magazine and yet the gay community treats him like some brave, gay hero for coming out publicly...and finally, I hate Lance Bass because he seems completely boring and insipid and shallow.
And for all you queens who proclaim Lance Bass 'talented'...puhleeze! The man was in 'N Sync, not only a boy band, but one of the worst boy bands that ever existed...the only people who bought their albums were pubescent and adolescent girls.
