Further toxicology tests are necessary to determine the cause of Heath Ledger's death, a medical examiner said Wednesday:
“The medical examiner's office told NewsChannel 4 that an autopsy on actor Heath Ledger was inconclusive, and more tests are needed. Additional toxicology tests will be conducted and results are not expected back for another seven to 10 days, according to the medical examiner's office…Police sources said investigators found two bottles of sleeping and anti-anxiety pills at the apartment — one prescription, one over the counter. Fire officials told NewsChannel 4 that a 911 caller reported that a man was not breathing and his body was ‘cold' The maid reported earlier she had heard Ledger snoring, police told WNBC.com…The New York City Medical Examiner's Office conducted the autopsy Wednesday, saying the cause of death is still uncertain. NYPD spokesman Browne said there was no obvious indication of suicide.”
