Deception Indicated in Larry Sinclair Polygraph Tests
Larry Sinclair, the man who posted a video to YouTube in late January claiming that he and Barack Obama had engaged in drug use and oral sex in 1999, submitted to two polygraph tests over the weekend. According to WhiteHouse.com (not associated with the U.S. Government) which facilitated the testing, there was deception indicated in both tests:
"Dr. Ed Gelb, Former President of the American Polygraph Association was the Polygraph expert selected by Whitehouse.com. He has done over 30,000 polygraph examinations over his long career. There were two polygraph tests administered by Dr. Gelb on Friday. the first polygraph asked Mr. Sinclair on his sex claims. The second polygraph test asked Mr. Sinclair on the drug use claims...It was our intention to get to the truth in this serious matter rather than have these allegations that were made almost a month ago drag on to election day. Due to the seriousness of this issue we made the results public today rather than waiting until Monday when we would have received the second expert's conclusions."
Late last week, after the John McCain lobbyist, right-wing pundit Bill O'Reilly suggested that there were Democratic scandals the mainstream media was refusing to report on. If this Sinclair nonsense was what O'Reilly was intimating, this test likely took some wind out of those sails.

Ah yes! The scum and bottom feeding begins to churn up from the depths. "Let's float this garbage out there and see is we can make something of it! Fox News will give us air time!"
Is anyone surprised? We saw how thwarted the "Swiftboats against Kerry" campaign got, I can only imagine how disgusting and low these skanks will go against Obama to knock him down a couple of pegs.
Interesting; I wonder what corpse they will float up if the ticket is Obama/Clinton?

What is sad is the obvious nut didn't even believe his own delusions.
One can believe their own delusions and pass a lie detector test.
He seriously needs help.

Well, that's the end of that. Maybe now he can go down on Bill O'Reilly.

Just imagine if the guy had been a successful pathological liar. Fox would have gone nuts giving this airtime. Of course now that he's failed I doubt we'll hear much about this latest smear.

Polygraphs indicate stress rather than veracity. His claims are bizarre though.

Argh! This guy is a looking for attention like any of the rest of the star-stalkers out there. Remember the guy who tried to break into Spielberg's house to rape him? What about the nut job who stalked David Letterman? The list goes on and on.
We should feel sorry for this guy for suffering from whatever ails him enough to have such a twisted vision of the world. People like this need help--sometimes forced commitment for psychiatric care because they can become violently delusional.
That said, it's pathetic that anybody looking at this guy didn't know he was full of sh#t. Come on.
No one who knows Obama has ever said that he's anything like ex-Governor McSleazy, a scumbag who would lie, cheat, screw anybody over to get what he wanted.
Michelle Obama is a smart woman, a Harvard trained lawyer, who would have kicked Barack's butt to the curb if he had been cheating on her with anyone.
The sad thing is that I'm sure repeated Worst Person of the Week Bill O'Wrongly would have loved to have put this guy on Fox.
If Obama wins the nomination, the Rethugs are planning multiple Swiftboat-like attacks against Obama. They've already starting to make up stuff about him being unpatriotic for not wearing a flag pin!
How laughable is it to impugn someone's patriotism because he doesn't wear a flag pin. How many everyday Americans wear a flag pin? How does waving a flag prove someone's love of country is greater than another's?
The irony is that all of the Republicans who claim to be patriots are willing to gut the Constitution and toss out longstanding American principles. It's become impossible for the U.S. to criticize any country that practices human rights abuses when we they can say that the U.S. spies on its citizens, has secret prisons, tortures people, and ignores the rule of law.

I don't know if this guy is a liar or not, but there's a reason lie detector tests aren't admissible in court--they're bogus. The media fascination with them is nothing but tabloid silliness.

This man is a complete nutter! He has a history of blackmailing politicians. what a creep! He's still going on about it too.
Also, I actually don't think O'Reilly was referring to this in that FOX video. I think he was just saying that in general, tomorrow, if he wanted to, he could make accusations about a prominent democrat, that the media "knows things about" -- but won't report. Many politcians have unsavory stories floating around out there, that aren't being reported...on both sides.

Andy, I love your site but why is this here? It's just a waste of space. There's nothing here at all.

I'm disappointed this story is even being covered. Are we really going to give every nut and liar airtime? If a legitimate accusation is made that's one thing, but just being able to post a video on youtube and be paid for it is simply ethically reprehensible.

Larry Sinclair has admited to fabricating the Obama story, actually stating that he has never even met Barack Obama. He has made verified posts and comments on multiple blogs of his supporters.
I will give the link to one such blog, and also post the text of his comment. I have been sent these by various people.
Here is the text from his posts:
Hi,
This is Larry Sinclair. First. I am posting this message in venues where I know my situation is discussed.First off, let me apologize for the roller coaster ride I have put some of you through(myself included). I have been going through various issues as of late, and have been having quite a tough time. I sincerely appreciate all the support I have received from ALL OF YOU(you know who you are). However, I think it's time this all was finished. I was not being honest. I did not give oral sex to Barak Obama, nor have I ever met him. I have just been extremely lonely lately, and I guess I needed attention. I want to assure you all the money I recieved from this(both from whitehouse.com and The Globe Magazine) will ALL go to charity. When all is said and done, I will NOT HAVE PROFITED from this. Now that I have disclosed this, I hope you all will respect my right to privacyhttp://www.topix.com/forum/news/2008-presidential-election/T9P2FSJ4FJDS585UB#lastPost, and let it rest. I have made some good friends during this, and will always cherish and respect the ones who have helped me.
Thank you,
Larry Sinclair

This smear is only the beginning. Let's not be shocked or panicked when the next ones come along.

He said that Obama preferred crack cocaine. That alone should have tipped people off that the man is a whackjob. Crack is for those that can't afford blow. Even in his youth, Obama used powder cocaine; not crack rock. Maybe if Mr. Sinclair had read Obama's book, he'd have been able to come up with a story that appeared slightly more legitimate instead of pathetic.
