Hayden Christensen Teleports to the Cover of Details

Hayden Christensen, whose sci-fi teleportation movie Jumper came in #1 at the box office this weekend, leaps onto the March cover of Details. The article is not yet online.
And neither is Christensen's reported mockumentary: "Hayden Christensen filmed a drunken home movie with his 'Jumper' co-star Jamie Bell. The pair - who star as 'jumpers' who can teleport anywhere in the world in the new action film - were bored on a flight from Canada to Italy and decided to shoot their own 'mockumentary'. Hayden said: 'After a few beers we decided it would be fun to make a mockumentary of what it would be like for jumpers who couldn't jump having to travel on a plane and deal with the nuisances of regular transport. I have footage of Jamie reeking (sic) havoc in this airport and me poking fun at everyone on this plane. He has got an amazing sense of humour.'"
When we last checked in with Christensen he was gracing the cover of Vman, telling the magazine the he enjoyed having people speculate about his sexuality.

I saw JUMPER on saturday.
It wasn't high art, but it wasn't supposed to be.
VERY entertaiing and well worth the 8 buck matinee ticket price.
Hayden seems to be getting more and more f@ckable wih age.

he's so hot

There's no "c" in wreak, Phil ;)
I'm willing the bet the mockumentary reeked though. I'm willing to see a Hayden flick just for the eye candy...that's one wooden performance I'll take anytime.

Jumper, entertaining? Meh.
Hayden is somewhat goodlooking, but acting is definitely not his forte. CARDBOARD!

Maybe so JEZ, but the special afects were great. For a lazy saturday afternoon, I was entertained.
:-)

JEZ: Agreed. He's a much better actor than what he showed in Jumper. I recommend "Life As A House" and "Shattered Glass" (a movie I am especially biased toward because of its subject matter).
Jumper was pure "lazy Saturday afternoon" fluff. I'd recommend it for DVD-rental viewing instead.
I should have, for once heeded the advice of the critics, but I went to watch it solely for Rachel Bilson (man, she's HOT!). I also took into account director Doug Liman's successful track record (Bourne, Mr & Mrs Smith). Alas, he failed to deliver, IMO.

He's hot yes, but he can't act worth shit. It pains me to j/o over him, knowing that he singlehandedly ruined Star Wars Episodes II & III.

I liked Jumper as I like watching sci-fi movies, but it was not a fine film. But Hayden is the reason I went to see it. George Lucas ruined Star Wars by writing such horrible dialogue and by not demanding more from his actors. I'd like to see Hayden take on a role with some substance. I'd also like to see him with no clothes lying in a bed next to me.
Let's see which comes true.

Is there footage of Hayden Christensen jumping co-star Jamie Bell? This article seems to suggest there might be.
I'd watch that, if it was on, but I'm not sure I'd pay, mind.

I've seen Hayden Christensen movies with "substance" to them.
They suck too, and so does his performances in them. Life as a House, Shattered Glass, that one about the journalist who committed plagiarism en masse...
Sadly, Hayden is *purely* eye candy. Very, very good eye candy, but that's all the substance to him in regards to his acting career.
Jamie Bell, on the other hand, is not only eye candy... but an amazing talent, right up there with the other new emerging talent, like Emile Hersch and James McAvoy... and perhaps even better. I got to watch Hallem Foe last night and Jamie Bell truly delivered in that film, which was interesting, unique, entertaining, and funny to boot.

I thought Hayden was going to retire from acting after he nearly destroyed Anakin Skywalker? His eye candy quotient can't make up for his god-awful lack of talent, imho.

Yeah, this guy is a truly wretched, wooden actor. He makes Keanu Reeves look like Ralph Fiennes. It's embarrassing to watch him.
