Madonna in Cannes

ABC's Cynthia McFadden interviews M-Dolla, who seems in a better mood than usual, from Cannes this evening on Nightline.
Watch it, AFTER THE JUMP...

Guy Ritchie couldn't look more over her. She has been really bitchy of late in the interviews I've seen her in. It's like she's internalizing all the negativity that people place on turning 50. Well, she looks great and is still making music. She's an incredible woman and I only have immense respect for her. I hope she's around a long, long time.
Happy Birthday Madonna

Power to her...the light shines through

Please don't blame Madonna's bitchiness on her age. That is ageism. Girlfriend has always felt she was the shit, she has to, otherwise no one would listen to her.

I'm glad she broke Elvis' record and her album is #1 in 37 countries.
Loved her Chanel dress when she was on the red carpet. I disagree she was one of the 'worst' dressed. People just love to hate on her. There were plenty of people dressed much worse.
Loved it when Cynthia brought up her upcoming birthday and that Gloria Steinem said she looked good for 50 and Madonna said "Fuck You". Classic!
Can't wait to see her documentary. Looks like it will be a tearjerker.

The doc is really good—saw it at TriBeCa. Very legit. Good director for a first-timer (not Madonna, who wrote/narrated/produced). It's a sad movie but makes the statement I'm sure she wanted it to make.

You can see where her doctor shot the fillers in.

Is that Madonna or Joan Rivers?

He looks as sexy as ever, but, she is way too severe and matronly and should look her age, no shame in being 60, get to the beach for a tan Madge and hairdresser, that color isn't working!

I just hate how she thinks every change in her life is an opportunity to lecture humankind about the way to live.
Plus she's an insane control freak and extremely cutting and rude at times (I know from experience, oh do I ever).

Whilst I like a lot of her music, I have never really been able to take to her; I have always found her very brittle; a chief exponent of the view that a woman has to behave like a man (i.e. the worst kind of aggressive brute) to get anywhere in life.
Agree with Marc about the hair - don't get the peroxide blonde obsession - very harsh when you're that pale..

Whoa, Madonna/Madge/Esther is rapidly turning into a British grand dame in the mould of "The Rottweiler" Camilla[r] (as she would pronounce it in her newly acquired mid-class "British" accent).
Didn't her hairdresser warn her against "double processing"? She should not have bleached and permed (what is left of) her hair at the same time, yet she retains her ineradicable mousey brown roots (literally and figuratively). She looks like a rural Polish grandmother on her first visit "to town". The mascara on false eyelashes is also a sure sign of impending matron-hood. What next, mono-bosom, a diamante brooch and Wellies?
Girlfriend needs to take her bi-sexual husband's advice and vet her looks with her old gay hangers-on. It is not too late, but she is one Michael Jackson chin implant away from becoming the Dowager Queen.

Exactly!
I'm not going to hide my excitement, being a fan for 25 years and never seeing her live.
This will be my first time, and no, I didn't pay an arm and a leg either.

Woooooooaaah, you bitches clearly had nasty mornings. She's amazing and if you can't see that, you're fucking blind and/or deaf. I think it's hilarious that gay men would so harshly criticize her about her "bitchy attitude" and age. I thought we were better than straight men when it came to ridiculously sexist mentalities, but I guess not...
