The Question Texan Republicans are Asking

Whitehouse

In related news, former GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee warned fellow Republicans not to demonize Obama:

"'Republicans will make a fundamental if not fatal mistake if they seek to win the election by demonizing Barack Obama,' Huckabee told reporters in Tokyo, according to a report by Agence France-Presse. Huckabee praised the country for getting 'to a point where we did not see his color but we truly saw his charisma, his message and what he brought to the campaign trail...When people are really hurting — and they are right now — they're not looking at a person's race,' he added."

  1. Keep waiting for your handouts 24Play. The government checks will be in the mail, if someone in your neighborhood doesn't steal it first.

  2. Oh Johnny, I already got my $600. And that Cracker Dubya even deposited it right in my checking account!

I've already spent half of it on lowfat half-caf venti lattes at Starbucks and organic free-range arugula at Whole Foods. Did you stock up on pork rinds, crank, and shotgun shells? Or did you get new siding for the double-wide? I know the Nevada sun can be hell on siding.

  3. And once again 24Play, you say absolutely nothing in support of Obama. That would take brainpower and knowledge of the issues.

Remember that Obama got the majority of these delegates BEFORE the "Rev." Wright, Rezko, Ayers and the rants of his militant wife were aired on MSM. 70 million people have not voted yet, and Hillary supporters including me don't want him. Sane people don't want him. Conservatives don't want him. Women don't want him. Shall I go on? Even the sane blacks don't want him!

As far as what I hate, that would be stupid, careless and destructive people. Skin color does not enter into the equation.

Why don't you write us an essay on Obama's proposed $1,000 tax cut for the "average American" and let's see if you know anything about the real facts of the situation. Because that is just one more proposal that does not add up.

Clue: He has never defined what the "average American" makes in annual wages. I looked it up and the people is he pandering to will get pennies, not $1,000, like that is any big deal.

    Keep dreaming.

  4. I'm waiting 24Play. Show us you have a brain or are you just a Michelle Obama clone?

  5. Johnny,

I don't make a case for Obama because there's about as much use trying to have a reasoned discussion with a racist as there is with a religious fundamentalist. None.

I'm not commenting in an effort to have a conversation with you. I'm here as a public service, to let anyone who might be seeing your comments here for the first time know that where you're really coming from on Obama is, I'll never vote for that "crack-smoking ni--er!"

Anything else you post is just so much bullshit rationalization. And there's no need. We get it, I get it.

  7. 24Play - Brainless black Kool Aid drinker to the last. I will remind you that Obama is an admitted cocaine user. And the obvious reason that he made this admission is because he still uses it and no doubt this will haunt him in the waining days of the campaign. If you knew anything about the drug, you would know that only a small minority ever stop using it. And when past users get stressed out or it is offered the vast majority will take it every time. And that comes from experts on the subject, not from me.

Obama is a loser. His only gift, to those who can't see through him, is his ability to make a speech. His judgment and character already speak loud and clear, for anyone with enough intelligence to listen and study the facts concerning his background.

  8. Leave it to the typical Texan rednecks to come up with something this intelligent. That's why Texas is the butt of so many jokes. The white people who are there are pretty scary. I am white and I thought my hometown of Kentucky was questionable.

  9. Yes, Texas, we will return to calling it "The White House" rather than "Duh White House" as we have for going on eight years.

  10. Johnny Lane - Bush ALSO did cocaine, yet I don't see you dismissing him so readily. I agree that we don't have enough record on Obama's politics to say what exactly he would to if elected - I say that as a citizen of Illinois as well. But c'mon, are you f'ing kidding me? Even you will have to admit, the button is out of line. Record or not, cocaine or not, that button is in the poorest of taste.

    Posted by: Dave | Jun 18, 2008 8:29:06 PM

  11. Dave, George Bush is a criminal, which I stated above as follows: "Like it or not, Bush started the war in Iraq. Personally, I hate it and I think Bush is criminally liable. But the deed is done and we will have to deal with it for decades."

I did not vote for Bush. He is an arrogant moron which is one of the worst combinations of personality traits, especially for someone in power. I was living in Austin at the time he was elected. People knew he was riding on his father's coattails. He was a failure in virtually every business deal he touched.

I never mentioned "the button" in any of my comments, however I think it is wrong. Obama is giving voters more than enough information to discredit his campaign if they will just listen carefully. The biggest problem we have today is that the vast majority of people know nothing of history, current events or even the names of people who currently hold office. And they have no concept of how the Federal government functions. People form opinions from headlines, sound bites and news presented in a comedy format. It is a sad commentary and that is why Obama has gotten this far.

Obama's candidacy is also a testament to how many people have used illegal drugs in this country. I have read countless comments which indicate that people think it is no big deal that he has used cocaine. I was in my early teens when JFK was President. And trust me, if he had admitted drug use, his campaign would have gone nowhere.

Obama's record speaks for itself. His association with lunatics, criminals, terrorists and his sophomoric policy proposals speak to his judgment and character.

The word "CHANGE" that is plastered on every Obama campaign poster means nothing. He can't change a damn thing without Congress. Anyone who thinks Congress is going to "CHANGE" anything hasn't been paying attention. The only change Congress will make each and every year is their increase in pay and pork spending for their districts so they can get reelected.

  12. Johnny is sick and tired of black men asking him for CHANGE.

  13. The button looked fake to me (the lettering looks added in PS as the edges do not conform to the button) so I checked out the republicanmarket website to see if it was actually being sold. I couldn't find this one specifically, but man, those buttons are hateful! Not just political statements, but out-right hate. Is there no other way to get your point across but to spew racist, sexist slurs like that? But I guess that IS their point. No wonder there are so many hate crimes being committed. They're basically promoting this evil mentality.
